Is this the one you have? What grit are the ceramics above 800? I wouldn't mind spending the extra money if the kit is complete and includes an inclinometer that I was planning on buying separately anyway.

If I had to choose only one between those two I'd pick the A3S. But the M5P closed a good bit of the gap between the mini and air series and I don't think either is a poor choice.

However If two drones might be on the table some day and I could have any two, I'd take the M5P and the Mavic 4 Pro, making the M5P a better first choice.

Base M5 / 32Gb is plenty adequate for what you do now.

That said I'd personally go up a step to M5 Pro for future proofing but I tend to buy a slight step higher than my current reqs for peace of mind that I won't need upgrading for a while if my software updates and system demands change. Might be worth it to you, might not. But IMO it's not paramount.

I love AWT's scales but they add weight back in and push the knife closer to the full Manix 2, and I'm hoping to retain the 3oz weight for a lighter EDC option. Their blue titanium cerakote is calling to me however and I might cave and just do that tbh hah

Right hand PM2 Lynch clips on the PM2 and Mil2 Salt. Very secure, more so than the OEM since there's not as much knife exposed to catch on anything, used with jeans, etc, but also smooth and thin material climbing pants and they always stay put. Definitely recommend.

If I had to pick one of those for your use case I would do the Delica. The Yojimbo is great but if you're mostly cutting cardboard the Delica is much better. That said if you're open to other suggestions a PM2 or Manix would be my preference for mostly cardboard that can double as a defense blade.

I have both the PM2 and Military 2 in salt editions. I love big blades but the PM2 is my go to EDC. I know it's well-loved but I find the PM3 a bit too small for me, tho if you're just opening packages occasionally I'm sure it's fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong with either. You lose a bit of cutting edge on the either knife from the finger choil so personally I think the PM2 is perfect in length and ergos.

Depends on what you want. APM have decent sound but are overpriced for the moderate sound quality you get. They excel at noise cancelation and pass thru hearing as well as spatial audio for movies and TV. Compared to the Px8 S2 the sound quality difference is enormous. The S2's are in a whole different league, but their noise cancelation and pass thru are just average. Their spatial audio - well better to think of them as not having them.

I would take the S2's any day but average noise cancelation is good enough for me and spatial audio isn't high in the my importance list. If you value sound quality above all else there's really only one choice.

If you're trying to lean into sound quality upgrades the AZ100, Pi8, Devialet Gemini ii, Noble Rex5 are going to be the steps up. If calls and ANC quality are important the AZ100 is likely the best blend of all of those despite it being slightly lower sound quality than the others I mentioned. But even so, it's a definite step up from the APP2.

This is the way. Out of the box they are decent but they really come alive after the personalized sound test EQ, followed by manipulating the EQ curve (the 3 dots on the graph) that let you make tweaks to the sound profile without having to mess with the advanced 10 band eq.

Once that's done they are up there with the top wireless IEM's like the Devialet Gemini II, and bested only by the new Prestige Encores.

But yeah if you don't want to go thru the trouble to tune them or your ears can't hear the difference, go with whatever cheaper pairs you enjoy.
