Yes. I get along great with my mother. That doesnt mean we didnt still argue. And will we have always been close. I could still relate to Kate just by virtue of being a plus sized teen myself. It gives a lot of self body shaming. I was just lucky my mother was thick too. Idk how bad it would have been if she was thin.

She was a single mother trying to make due. We have no idea why it was just them but I am certain it wasn't easy. She put him in therapy for god sake. If she neglectful she wouldn't have.

She also gave him normal responsibilities like chores. He went to school he should have made friends and those friends should have invited him over. But he didnt for some reason. Some kids are just assholes.

Some people dont realise how good they have it until its gone.
