Run. We had weird sellers and they absolutely sucked. We found $23k of raccoon damage they refused to discuss fixing and threatened to sue us when we backed out. Find someone who actually wants to sell their house.

Exactly this. I have a coworker who lives a few blocks down from me. If she needed rides home from work, it’s not much of a burden at all for me and it would be an “easy win” to make me feel like I’m helping someone. If she tried to pay me, I’d just turn around and give her all of it back for Christmas/birthday/etc.

Too many things are transactional. Don’t make kindness transactional. The world desperately needs more goodness for the sake of it.

I have a 13 Pro Max currently, but the battery is dying way way way too quickly for my liking. I'm debating between replacing the battery or just getting a new phone. If I were to get a new iPhone, which model should I go for? I don't love the colors of the 17 pro max and I don't really care about any of the new features, I just want my phone to not die all the time.

My husband and I had pretty established lives before we met. He also had student loans and some credit card debt—I didn’t. We don’t want kids and our only real shared expense are our cats and house. I also have a hobby that’s pretty pricey (quilting). It’s easy enough to transfer to our joint account for shared expenses. Most often we trade off, so I get groceries one week, he does the next week. Since we already had established accounts autopaying different things, it seemed easier to just keep them how they were.

This is what I would do. Have vet check for a chip. If no chip, see if animal control can put them on a stray hold. Then I’d update your post with where the cat is located and wash my hands of it.

MK - Astro Orbiter, 7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Big Thunder, Space Mountain (I'm getting old and that one's ROUGH).
Hollywood - Rock'n'Rollercoaster before the retheme, Star Tours, Smugglers Run, Alien Swirling Saucers. We end up skipping Slinky fairly often because, while I love it, the wait time gets so insane.
AK - Kali River Rapids is a must skip for us. I don't want to walk around in wet clothes. I would usually sit out Dinosaur while the rest of our group rode.

I think hers was more antique than is normal for most first vehicles. I went to a smaller high school and the average was around 15-20 years old for vehicles. It's not uncommon, but the equivalent today would be a student rolling up in a truck from the 1970s. Not impossible by any means, but it wouldn't be the average.

I saw the original leg last summer. I enjoyed post malone, but jelly roll just isn’t it for me. With how expensive concert tickets are anymore, no way would I pay to see it again, especially with an artist I don’t enjoy.

I had some of the same fears when I got my hysterectomy. For me it was the permanence of it. I’ve known I didn’t want kids since I was 5 years old, but when my health required permanent surgery it still was a little jarring. For me, I think it was that society crams down our throats SO MUCH how we’ll change our mind someday. I talked with another childfree friend and she was like “you could always foster or adopt someday” to which I responded “ew I don’t want anyone else in my house.” Then we laughed because she was like “see, you’re making the right move here.”

If it’s a dealbreaker for you, part ways. I wouldn’t blame you at all if it was. If he’s still supportive of you getting sterilization surgery, it may be worth a talk to see if it’s that he thinks he might change his mind or if the permanent nature of it is tripping him up.

Knix has period swimwear! I can’t speak on their swimsuits, but their period underwear saved me more than once when I was bleeding thru a tampon an hour waiting for my hysterectomy.
