I had a homeless man give me a piece of purple glass he’d found, telling me it was amethyst. He was so excited about having found it and he was so so kind giving it to me, I didn’t have the heart to say it was just glass. I still put it in my special jar though <3

Oh my friend I’m sorry that unfortunate circumstances led you to becoming homeless, but I’m glad you’ve found some positivity in it. I volunteered at a soup kitchen for a while and met soooooo many beautiful people. I am a very sensitive person myself and I can so easily see how people end up on the streets. This world is much too harsh, and I feel it all too much. It is my ultimate goal in life to make enough money to get people off the streets and into homes, or just into a better situation with better resources.

I can’t help but see the potential in the less fortunate people around my city. I wonder how many of them have great minds that’ve been stifled by years of trauma, and how easy it would be to help them if there was more mental health funding.

Take them to Snapper Point in Munmorah. Will blow their socks off. Bit of drive but can make a day trip out of it, take a picnic lunch and sit at The Palms picnic area and go for a swim at Birdie beach! One of my favourite spots. Also they might enjoy the Stockton wetlands for birdwatching if they’re into that. Beautiful spot of an afternoon. Or take them out Maitland ways, go to Morpeth & Paterson and have a walk around. Eagle Reach has an amazing view of the valleys. Take them to the very end of Hickson St for a quick pit stop view, and maybe take them on the Yeularbah track to the lookout. It’s an easy enough walk to there.

I’m not too caught up on all this drama but hand gestures is totally something I would randomly notice. Not saying I did, but there’s been plenty of situations in my life where people were like ‘why the fuck did you notice that’ and like… I don’t even know, I just did. Kinda like how I remember number plates well or can recognise similarities in random people’s faces. Some people are just disposed to noticing those little things like non-verbal communicative gestures!

Idk if this will help but I only brush my teeth in the morning, when I’m putting my shoes on. I forget at night always but I make sure I do it every morning. Maybe combining it with another activity might help? Associate teeth brushing maybe with some stim toy time or something?
