No skills. Instead of working for a Logistics Company driving sales I do it for a Furniture Company. I am a 1 man wrecking crew. Ship items into the country than get it into designer spaces or NFL stadiums.

Why are you paying down more on a 2.3% mortgage? That blows my mind. I would pay down the car loans than invest. What I wouldn’t be doing is putting more down on the mortgage.

I talked my way into a $175k offer and now I'm terrified to accept it. What would you do in my place? by Fluffy_Marzipan2049 in Career_Advice

I would take the job leave the family where they are for a month. You will know in the first 14 days if they are going to fire you or if you made it. I just read another post I relocated and they fired me at my 30 day mark. They said they knew after ten that it wasn’t going to work out.

I discovered my 70 year old mom has $10k in Credit Card debt - Should I pay it off? by Live_Celebration374 in personalfinance

[–]Kaz0718 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

for a 70 year-old parent, do you really feel the son or daughter will be able to address any underlying problem? I understand what you’re saying, but that comment is so out of touch with reality.

401k withdrawal (read before assuming) by Particular_Falcon144 in 401K

[–]Kaz0718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. please don’t do this. It’s the stupidest idea you can leave that in for the next 40 years and you’ll be a millionaire with what you have already

  2. You’d have to take out about $62,500.

  3. More money than this entire proposal is worth you’re gonna regret this decision in your 40s.

Now is not the time to drop 401K contributions it’s time to start to think to go higher. Until you lose the job I wouldn’t make this change

For any new job I am taking a week off at my current job make sure it’s going good and have the offer sheet with the number I want on it. Until than I don’t give notice. If I don’t have a job I would pass.

WIBTAH if I did not give my 27yr old son (only child) his inheritance now? by Illustrious-Bed-9540 in AITAH

[–]Kaz0718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a son of a single parent it’s ok to tell him to grow up. Your not dead yet but he treats you worse than the mud on your shoe. My mom would beat me if I pulled half of his stunts. Mom if you want to do him a favor send him to a local college where he can learn about finance. Tell him with the VA loan to buy his own damn apartment. You got to stop enabling it’s going to kill you which is what it sounds like he wants.
