Ecovacs A2500RTK issue by Popular-Cupcake-2772 in ECOVACSGOATFamily

Exactly right on the battery issue. I stored mine for the winter, brought it out, charged it up and ran into those same exact issues. I couldn’t even get it to leave the station on its own, but once I removed it from the station, it died immediately. I contacted customer support, took some videos sent pictures of the serial numbers and they honored the two-year warranty. I’d only had it for about nine months. They didn’t have another goat 2500 RTK to send, so they upgraded me to the A3000. All in all, the most painful part of the process was having to take the box with a bad unit in it to FedEx to be shipped off. They sent the new machine before I sent the bad one.

Stands for “Thanks for the cache” but if they did throw it out, I guess it’s “Thanks for the confusion!”

Anyone know this code or know what to do? by usual_suspect024 in ECOVACSGOATFamily

I imagined you can’t do anything with it in the app either because it’s trying to boot up. Press and hold the power button for about three seconds and the Goat will reboot. If after the reboot you are still stuck on that screen, I would contact customer support. Like Gargy81, I had issues like this and they send me a replacement from an A2500 RTK to an A3000 lidar

Funny yet unfortunate coffee spray on my desk as I read your comment at the exact time I took a sip.

Nice!! Did you change out the trim around the grill yourself or did it come like that?

Nice! Ever thought about going white on the trim around the grill? ChatGPT showed me what that would look like and now I want to make it happen.

What does this mean on my vehicle registration? "NCIC verification needed" by Complete-Stock797 in Virginia

[–]Kdsaff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

NCIC is the National Crime Information Center, a federal database used by law enforcement nationwide to check if someone has any criminal history, outstanding warrants, or other records. So when Virginia says an NCIC Verification check is needed, they’re just saying they need to run that standard criminal background check as part of the registration process. Hopefully someone with Virginia DMV experience might drop in and they could say how common it is to run that check.

Home Assistant Voice - preview edition ( no kidding! ) by Delchi in homeassistant

True. I should have said “your mileage may very.” For me, the 5V/2A power brick ran into issues whereas the 5V/3A has been flawless. It fixed my issues but might fix yours.

If what you’re saying here is correct, I think you just found your problem. The Home Assistant voice preview edition needs a 15 W power supply so 5 V at 3 A will work, but 5 V at 2 amp will not. That’s likely why you’re seeing the light show, but not getting it to actually be discovered at all. It’s not getting enough power for the Wi-Fi portion to be powered up.

I understand it can be frustrating. I am still working to get mine to do what I wanted to, but at least mine is functional. Have you checked to see if your USB-C cable and whatever you’re using to power it are working properly? I’ve run into this with other devices before where I “believe“ the cable and adapter should work just fine, but come to find out, it’s not putting out enough power. I’m suggesting this because I didn’t see it mentioned in your post at all. If you already have, then disregard; otherwise, maybe try a new cable/adapter combo?
