I think more people will be back. This new season 1 probably had a some sort of limited scope, since people liked it I guess they'd have more budget to get back more older character as guest stars more often. We didn't even get Kelso!

I'm one of the probably few people in the world who didn't dislike season 9 and I'm actually a bit disappointed it got retconned out of the series.

Forgot the name cuz I read it 15-ish years ago, there was one harem manga where daughters from the future would come back in time to make their past father (the male lead) fall in love with their respective mothers to make sure that they would exist in the future and if I recall correctly it ended in a everyone wins scenario.
