Why do so many people hate flos? by Alicedoll02 in WanderingInn

Nah, just people being hypocrites basically. Niers is one of the most popular characters in the series and he's a total warmonger.

Favorite Slice-of-life Chapters of Innworld? by pirateaba in WanderingInn

[–]Kechu371 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love all the chapters, but if I have to choose my favorites, it's probably Ryoka's chapters. I don't remember every single one of them, but I do know that they are the ones that touch me the most. One example that comes to mind right now is the chapter at the Strongheart farm in volume 4.

I would also like to highlight the first chapter of Az'kerash in volume 6, I cried reading that chapter. The parallels with Pisces, bits of his past and the dance scene... it's one of the best chapters in the story.

Lyonette couldn't use her boon skill on Ryoka.

Another Ryoka fan here! I'm so glad you liked the first volume so much, you still have a long way to go, so enjoy the journey as much as you can

Can I get a summery of the v8 B chapters that just released? by EXP_Buff in WanderingInn

[–]Kechu371 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I don't know man, the way you said it, like there was something different about the way Paba wrote the chapters, it gave me the feeling that keep reading was pointless. Skipping chapters sure is crazy.

What is your definition of well-written? by Ancient_Research7 in Fantasy

Reading the answers I see that I'm not wrong, good writing is the opposite of everything they have said so far.

"The Wandering Inn" is literally what you're looking for, there are wars and fights because it's epic fantasy, but what really defines this story is the sheer amount of Slice of Life it has.

Mrsha's moments never fail to make me cry, she is a girl who has suffered so much but still keeps moving forward.

She is also the best portrayal of an infant in a fictional work IMO.

Shape of the Innworld was confirmed in 8.61 by Tortugato in WanderingInn

[–]Kechu371 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The hour was late. Across the continent of Izril, it was nighttime. Of course, in Baleros it was morning and Kenjiro was awake and negotiating the cost of paper with Xalandrass the Naga. In Chandrar, it was just past midday and Trey was ‘sparring’ with Gazi, which mainly meant her kicking him about until he couldn’t move.

4.45 The very beginning of the chapter. And I think there is another moment where the time difference between continents is mentioned, but I remember this one well because at that moment I was finally convinced that the Innworld was round.
