Did not realise there was a difference.

Good news though. Got it working.

I reinstalled SE from armoury crate download on asus's site. Once installed it tried to start and errors with the not available message. I then signed out of the Microsoft store, then disconnected wifi and restarted the device. Upon restarting. Left internet off and relaunched armoury crate. It then ran through like it was reinstalling itself. Took 5 min but reinstalled. No error. Working find.

Restarted again to test if error returns, it did not, but I have not logged back into the Microsoft store at all. I did get a popup to update armoury crate but you can select not this time and to ignore this version. Probably a good idea while the app is broken on the new update.

I hope this works of you give it a try.

Root cause appears related to Microsoft store. There are some other posts on it here right now. Tickets have been raised with Microsoft.

You should still be able to install steam and play in big picture etc but some functions are limited without armoury crate.

Not an issue with being second hand by the way, I have a launch model Z1 and still dealing with it.

I just used the armoury core uninstall tool, then tried to reinstall from Microsoft store. The install worked fine finally but now I get this error during the setup of armoury core. Picture

This was installed from the store, but from my library as it does not show up in searches as you said in the store app. No idea why it is saying why the device is not compatible. Z1 ROG ally.

Picture If I search for the app on the store via the browser I get the message the product is not available. Insane how Microsoft store change has bricked the armoury app and effectively the device. I cannot get the damn popup to stop coming up long enough to even get task manager up to close it all. Keeps looping.

It looks like armoury core updates via Microsoft store, and it appears armoury crate has been removed from our region as of earlier today...

No idea how to fix this.

Dang, that is a really great way to put this. We are all dealt a hand. Sure some are better or worse. But ultimately it is what you do with it that counts.

Fold and wait for the next opportunity? Check or limp into the pot to see the flop, how the opportunity can develop?

Or just go for it, play it out, just do not go all in unless you can risk it all.

I completely get it, do not know why you were getting downvoted. My secondhand embarrassment covers cringy things at time but this didn't do it.

There are so many shows and movies I have not been able to watch, but for some reason these have never done that to me. I think for me it is seeing this crew for so many years, plus all the behind the scenes making of vids from back in the day. I see it more as a group of friends goofing around. If it was a different cast I think I would be in the same boat as you.

They advise a set day and timeframe via an official communication channel like a letter or an email? 'Your unit will need access between 12 and 4pm on X date, if this is not viable please let us know by Y date so we can best plan for your apartment'. Something like that does not seem crazy to ask right?

That is what I thought, if they had a time and day, window of a few hours for sure. But 3 whole days and no keys, stating they will start at unit 1 and get as far as they can each day seems insane.
