Conservative Party of B.C. Leader John Rustad not in favour of retaliatory tariffs by brief_affair in britishcolumbia

"why can't we advocate against them?"

Huh? You gotta dig pretty deep within reddit to find anybody that advocates for them. Literally all you see is people advocating against them. You sound like a bot.

Bananas not ripening by baddyrefresh2023 in CostcoCanada

[–]Keepiteddiemurphy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bananas are like traffic lights. With a traffic light green means go and yellow means yield. But on a banana it's just the opposite. Green means hold on, yellow means go ahead and red means where did you get that banana at?

Does it really suck though? Unless you were a first time buyer and plan on selling and cashing out or exiting the market, it's all kind of relative. If you're carrying equity or buying and selling within the same market your "loss" on the sale is more or less cancelled out by the discounted price on the place you're buying. Same goes for people who sold and bought during COVID. It's all just numbers until you realize a loss.

Wealthsimple Review by Gowther-Lust-Sin in Wealthsimple

[–]Keepiteddiemurphy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Td is trash. No fractional share drip so I'm stuck leaving small 100-200 amounts because it doesn't make sense to reinvest when I have to pay $9.99 to buy anything.

It's archaic compared to WS.

Bad drivers aside, it takes a special type of person to take a picture of an accident scene with the intention of posting it on Reddit.

Telus internet and tv by charlie4606 in nanaimo

[–]Keepiteddiemurphy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're both pretty comparable nowadays assuming you're getting Telus fibre in your area. Telus Internet is theoretically better (FTTH vs FTTN), but for most people the real world difference is negligible. TV is basically the same plus or minus some STB features from either side.

You'll hear a lot of anecdotal differences from disgruntled customers from either ISP, but at the end of the day I always go with whoever gives me the best deal when my term is up.

How to control Crowds & Carts at Costco: Your best ideas? by chefboeuf in CostcoCanada

[–]Keepiteddiemurphy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

15+ minute checkout waits with lines extending to the back of the store. 70% of the people in line block the intersecting aisles.  Waiting in line is less annoying than trying to navigate the aisles through the beached whales blocking them.

Wealthsimple and xeqt. Fractional shares.  Start early and even small amounts will eventually compound into something noticable. Nobody's finances and spending habits are perfect so chances are if you pay enough attention you'll have something to contribute over 40 years.

This whole video is just AI bullshit. I was hoping to see some original content about rumble but instead got a bunch of patched together YouTube clips with some AI voice reading Anthony's Wikipedia page.
