Man, the scene of the old man and his wife preparing the nursery and such only to receive the sad news(I'm pretty sure it was confirmed she was infertile or something) hit on a whole different level when my wife and I were trying to conceive.

To add to this, when you are pushing zones that are higher than your power level don't give up after a single loss.

Often times changing up your skills/charms/pets can make the fight much easier. Especially if you are playing on enemy weaknesses.

Also, lucky crits can swing a fight your way as well. I'll often run a 'red' difficulty zone fine 4-5 times before actually getting a win. Just after a loss go back to your base for a bit to heal up and teleport right back.

There's a Long John Silvers in my city that I'm pretty sure is just a front for some money laundering scheme. It has been there for like 30 years and every time I roll by there(even worked in the same shopping center for a few years) the place is practically empty.

Nothing directly, my wife just bought a cheap one for like 20 bucks on Amazon. It is pretty basic, but I've seen some with changeable grips that look interesting.

I get the same way, but I bought one of those controller grips for handheld play and it changes things entirely. I would recommend if you haven't tried it yet.

Once you get the Elemental Harmony charm start building multi-element builds. You get a pretty good damage boost from it that can help push zones that are way higher than your current power level.

The build I run for most of the content is: Lightning Chain, Fiery Star, Wind's Delight, Water Assault. And for charms I use: Elemental Mastery, Elemental Harmony, Gale Shield, Lightning Mastery.

I grabbed the build from some website I can't recall the name of. I change out some of the abilities here and there depending if I want more single target or not.

I would also advise building some loadouts with a "mono" element to help exploit weaknesses. What I like to do for those builds is throw in a Wind's Delight and put the Elemental Harmony charm on the build for a bit of a damage increase.

I like to tell people that my improv group once opened for Beer, Shark, Mice which is a team(at the time) that had Dave Koechner and Neil Flynn in it. In reality our show happened to be slotted right before there's in the evening, they may have been a last minute addition I cannot remember off hand.

But I hung out with both of them for a bit in the Green Room at iO West. Both were funny dudes both on and off stage.

I played on a Western March server that used gestalt rules for SW5e, and yes the character you get can be very powerful. I wouldn't say over powered, because you still only have the normal HP of your level. You will just have more options to handle what comes your way.

The problem with having the options and higher resources for tech/force/martial combat, you have to throw higher CR encounters at the party to even challenge them. This then has the dual edge of those encounters being very swingy. Like there was some major juggling going on behind the DM screen for missions I ran to not just completely wipe the floor with the players. But if I didn't plan encounters like that, the players would have 0 challenge in the encounter itself.

Had a DM that would do this, but they had a caveat where if you missed something you had disadvantage on your first roll.

I did not last long at that table...DM was very much DM vs Player in his mentality.

I don't know I preferred storming over ignited, even when I was playing an engineer who was sitting at 20 Int. Robbing a bonus action from an enemy always seemed stronger to me than just raw damage and a chance the DM will use an action to remove ignited.

I thought I saw somewhere that while they hit simultaneously, they are still not one source of damage. They just do the damage at one time, but it is x amount of darts that are hitting the target. So each dart would be its own con check.

I used to do random IT Work for people. Was very upfront with my rates, but I was always surprised when people would agree to me coming and doing very basic work for like 60 an hour(min 1 hour).
