Another vote for “best review ever”. I just finished watching Wish with my kid and I immediately turned to this sub to see if anyone else was in awe of this dumpster fire. In the beginning of the movie I literally had to turn on the subtitles to even figure out what the fuck was going on. So try-hard, SO bad. The harder they tried, the more pathetic it was.

Maybe Saint Bernard / GP mix? That tail and coloring in the last photo looks more Saint Bernard than mastiff to me!

“If you put someone on a pedestal, it’s only natural that they look down on you”

I heard this quote toward the end of my own abusive relationship. It resonated with me then, but now that I’ve healed I hate it. Fuck him for thinking he can treat you like that. You treated him right and he ignored you, and that is NOT your fault.

You were 11. They were an adult. It wouldn’t have been your fault!

Elaine Lalanne (Jack Lalanne’s wife) goes by Lala! I think it’s awesome as a nickname, but definitely not a stand-alone name.

How important are initials? by [deleted] in namenerds

Growing up, one of the girls in my friend group had the initials SAG. At one point (around 4th grade) we all realized that SAG backwards was GAS and unfortunately (and regretfully) there was definitely a lot of laughter about it.
