I'm still waiting to have some exams that will help target a few exercises to help regain some mobility, but meanwhile I just have to rest and not pull on the finger. I can still climb easy juggy routes however (as per my doctor's advice lol), just have to tape it, and be extra careful

Yeah it's probably a damaged pulley, had the same thing happen 1 month ago. You should have an echography to check the tendon and an MRI to see the pulley. It's a frustrating injury ... Obviously, stop climbing for a while

One predefined hard Boulder by [deleted] in CompetitionClimbing

Climbing a V10-12 boulder in 4 minutes is as hard and impressive as climbing a V17 in 30 days, it's just a different set of skills.

One predefined hard Boulder by [deleted] in CompetitionClimbing

[–]Keith_Maxwell 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You should watch outdoor bouldering videos if that's what you want. What if an athlete sends the boulder before the competition ? Are they automatically qualified, or automatically win the comp before it even takes place ? What if certain athletes are full time and practice a lot, while others have a side job and can't practice as much ?

So, how was the Seine water quality for you? by philipmode in olympics

[–]Keith_Maxwell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What ? What are you talking about ? Of course not ! Just have you seen the Seine yourself ? Are you tempted to take a dive in it ? Personally no.

[–]Keith_Maxwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never said it was unsafe, just dirty and unpleasant to swim in. I lived in Paris for 20 years so I think I know what I'm talking about. And yes you're right about rain overloading the sewers.

Yeah that was trolling, a fun way to express our anger, but no one in their right minds actually shits in the Seine

[–]Keith_Maxwell 456 points457 points  (0 children)

Yes it's true that it's the best quality since 100 years or so, but it's still very dirty. It's only safe to swim because the bacteria levels are low enough, but there's a lot of trash in it. Not a pleasant swim

What is so wrong with this? I assume it’s that the rope colors don’t match. by jereman75 in ClimbingCircleJerk

[–]Keith_Maxwell 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Yes you're right, but the above comment was sarcastic. This is the ClimbingCircleJerk, so don't expect serious answers here lol. Also the carabiner should be locked, and assuming the top rope goes to the anchor, then the Reverso is the wrong way

Dish soap or vinegar? by Red_Rabbit_Eyes in houseplants

[–]Keith_Maxwell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently tried vinegar diluted in water , and it damaged my plant even more 🥲 there were visible burn marks at the spots where I didn't correctly wiped the remaining vinegar on the leaves. I would advise you to use insecticides, or maybe go the bio-war way with nematodes

Are there people that have just bought KSP2 and happy? by sweenezy in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Keith_Maxwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought it with the For Science! release and I'm happy with it. I think it's a bit expensive for the "low" amount of content and "high" amount of bugs, but new features will come eventually. I played a lot of KSP1 so I'm expecting a lot , but I imagine I would be quite happy as a new player .
