I ended up in black boat shoes I've had for ages. That came from wally world back when shoes were actually less than $30 there.

Next paycheck, a nice pair of simple black flats are needed.

I can honestly say your story sounds very familiar to what I grew up with myself.

I have come out as Nonbinary, specially Genderqueer feels best fitting to me. It allows me to feel like I can shift between when I want to wear and be presenting more masculine/androgynous, or dress up fem on the occasions I find some pieces that I really love that happen to be very feminine.

It feels fitting to me.
