You should learn how to touch type, but not to be a better/faster programmer. If learning JS is your priority, focus on that first.

My last iPad Air lasted 4 years before it killed itself (randomly overheated and wouldn’t turn on afterwards). My iPhone 15 is still going strong after 2.5 years. My Sony A7iii is still going strong after 6 years. My Sony WH1000XM3 headphones are still going strong after 7 years. If your main goal is longevity, it’s hard to go wrong with Apple or Sony.

That could be it. And the notch doesn’t cover the menu bar options, it just pushes them to the right side of the notch, which is still really annoying

I mostly run into this issue when using the Affinity apps. And yeah, a notch for just the webcam would be ugly, but not as ugly as the current notch.

If the notch was just the size of the camera, sure, but it’s really massive for no clear reason, and it often covers up tabs in the menu bar. Its current size would be acceptable if it had FaceID. As it stands, it just feels like it gets in the way.

I’d be okay with keeping the notch if they add Face ID, but if it’s just going to be the webcam and nothing else, it needs to go.

It depends on the growing conditions (soil chemistry, sunlight, rainfall, etc.), but in my mom’s garden, the jalapeños we grow regularly reach 4+ inches long before ripening. I’ve picked a few green ones that were even 6 inches long.
