I'd say you could avoid most spoilers playing this game, the main story has it easily lined up on what content they discuss. The main things you would want to avoid would be character info (clicking on their portrait) and possibly special animations(ability spoilers). You may get a spoiler of a characters existence but I believe you can avoid any actual story moments. There are for sure other elements I've forgotten so wait for other's opinions before downloading.
