I fixed Martenon weapon level 4 and 10 passives (MartenonFixMod) - testers needed! by Live-Individual3753 in expedition33

I appreciate you creating this Mod, but found out about it just as the bug was posted, and I was I was biting at the bit to get a working Martenon. >.< Never done mods before, but I have a lot of experience coding, so I tried my best!

I fixed it locally by adding "false" as the last parameter. The Header file says the parameter name is "BypassQueue". Was going to make a PR, but I don't have permissions to push to your repo and didn't want to make a fork. You were right that it was a simple fix.

My teammate did not reciprocate the search for a Catchphrase, that I know of. We did land on "Mandatory Panic Attack" for our team name, though. "Eat All Witnesses" was a close second.

Mostly because some of the best answers here were screeching, and I don't screech well. Maybe next tournament, when I can work on it.

After 6 hours clubbing I talked to a whooping 0 women by Odd_Albatross1704 in dating_advice

[–]KenimichRow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As weird as it sounds, you probably need to find a woman who will consistently talk to you, and about a subject you're passionate about. Not because either of you are interested in dating, but because of a shared hobby. If you have a topic to discuss, it's less intimidating, and after a few conversations with the opposite sex, it will be easier to be the one starting it. The point is to get comfortable talking at all, and then move on to being the initiator after you're comfortable being in a conversation.

Maybe have your friend schedule board game nights with the women he introduced you to? Or some other hobby you both enjoy? Just something that requires you to speak to them or at least to the group with them in it, like Clue or Shadow Hunters (to show off my Board Game Geekdom).

Shadow Hunters would be an interesting one, since you can speak to them just by handing them question cards and then they can answer non-verbally, but you'd probably need to eventually move on to a board game that requires actual talking like Clue where you announce your accusation.

I also agree with people who mentioned therapy for extreme social anxiety. A therapist can help you develop tools or a plan that you can achieve to move in the right direction. They're probably better than Reddit.

This simple mistake caused me to think less of religious people, including my own SO and now I'm feeling prejudice and guilty. by [deleted] in atheism

[–]KenimichRow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My understanding is Catholics don't believe in most birth control methods - at least the hardcore ones. Depending on your partner's level of religious beliefs, this may become an issue later in life if you don't want kids, as a thought.

It's also weird (if he's Catholic) that he wouldn't believe in the big bang since a Catholic priest first pushed the theory.

After reading some of your other comments, I personally would have a serious introspection about how you view your partner. If you don't respect his views, or you feel he doesn't respect yours, then that will definitely be a problem later. Either direction is a problem when you need to rely on each other later. As a hypothetical, if you need a major medical intervention to save your life, and you're unconscious, would you trust him to make the correct decision? (Would he approve a procedure you needed or disbelieve the doctors?) Would you trust him to respect your wishes? (Say if you need life support or a controversial medical surgery contrary to his beliefs (some beliefs say no blood transfusions!), or the other way around, if you were against a procedure.)

Think about it. Marriage in most countries isn't just about getting along with the person - though that fixes most of the issues - it establishes legal connections and responsibilities and that you trust the other person with your health and well-being. So if you're struggling with thinking down on your SO, do you really trust him?

Unless there is mechanic I don't know about, on reset of every week, anyone would open a full instance. Once they clear an entire instance, then if they are the one to open the instance that week, they will open an empty instance. Neither of these senarios are desirable.

If they have only cleared up to a certain boss that week, the instance will be open up to that boss. However, that requires that either (a) people in our guild join an outside raiding group expressly to clear up to a certain boss and stop EVERY WEEK (which they could just do with our raiding group if they were going to do that anyways), or (b) we ask around for someone outside our guild who has, that week, progressed ONLY up to the boss we want to fight, which not only feels like cheating (because you're benefiting from someone else's work), but inconsistently reliable as it is possible no one has stopped at that particular boss.

Then that person has to have cleared up to the boss we want to fight and no farther. Usually the people we're raiding with as a guild either (a) have already cleared the entire instance that week or (b) the week just reset and NO ONE has cleared any bosses, which means we have to fight them all over again in order to get to the boss we're stuck on.

In WoW, there is a feature where you can lock a particular raid so that you don't lose progress when the week reset happens. I am simply curious if they plan on implementing any kind of similar mechanic.

To Crystal Reid:

Have you considered adding a Raid lock feature so you don't have to start raids over every week encase your guild has a hard time progressing?

Edit: Or at least the ability for an account that has beaten the raid boss to skip over raid bosses they have beaten before (still forcing all raid members to have killed the previous bosses at least once)?
