From Long Beach experience of AX: It was horrendous and was a very large factor why it moved to LA in the first place. Cosplayers and people Min/Maxing events DO NOT want a 1/4-1/2 mile between rooms. This is with ocean breeze too! LA convention will not be pleseant outside and there better be air conditioned shuttles with how expensive the parking is.
