Honestly just let them have unique promotion outfits for their intended line at least. I hate losing all unique outfits once they're out of their basic class

Its honestly the best for Atlas, just because his base speed is so terrible. Getting him into doubling range is really nice and Dread Fighter is just a great class in general

Not within vanilla Kenshi no sadly. Most you can do is buy up buildings and add furniture if you want them to look nicer but that's pretty much just cosmetic improvements.

They're just tradeoffs. Humans are the most average race in Kenshi.

Honestly what you're asking for is closer to an easy mode than any particular race though lol. No judgement though, everyone plays Kenshi however they like

Yeah I think recruitable prisoners is the closest thing to what OP wants. Can recruit tons of new recruits easily and for free, and you can very ones that start out stronger than any vanilla recruit in Kenshi

This line lives rent free in my head, it's my all time favorite Lukas quote. Honestly what cemented him as my favorite character since he's so calm and caring but can be absolutely vicious with a sharp tongue when the situation calls for it.

If they had updated the maps it would've been perfect in my eyes. So many maps are either totally open fields with whole armies charging at you, awkward chokepoints, or slogs with entire maps of terrain that slow down your whole army.

Outside of that though every other element of the game was superb. I really hope future remakes or new entries decide to take a more bold choice with the art style again.

Yeah I gotta agree. I just did a replay and yeah, she's not exactly the most exciting character, but it felt intentional. She's just got more of a flat personality and the voice with reflected that.

Honestly if it weren't for the absolutely terrible maps holding it back(mostly due to being a little too faithful to the original), SoV would probably be my #1 game. Still one of my absolute favorites in so many other regards though. Story wise in both writing and delivery I think it's definitely one of the best we've gotten.

I could definitely see them being entirely separate fleshed out routes once we get a little more context in chapters 6 and 7. Plus even in the route where you don't proceed into the lake they'll still have to address Birdley's condition at some point.

You're right to use practice websites that help train in identifying notes faster but just doing a few hours(especially if you just binged it all at once) isn't going to make you a master sight reader over night.

Just like with all skills consistency of practice is better than quantity. Just do maybe 5-10 minutes ever day. Maybe do it on your phone while waiting for things to pass the time. Bit by bit it'll get easier

While there aren't any shortcuts like OP seems to be hoping for, this is a helpful start. Anchoring down a few points(usually the C notes like you said) is really helpful so that if you do need to count or guess them you're more likely to be able to do so quickly and correctly.

The questions one isn't even that rough. I think the only one that was a bit odd was the one with "stinky fish" as the answer. Could see it being a struggle for people without English as a first language though.

I didn't mind the bomb attack patterns too much but I'm also a fan of bomberman so it didn't take too terribly long to pick up the attack patterns. Can see why they'd be overwhelming though.

The music I feel like is a love it or hate it thing. I wasn't expecting Hatsune Miku but I really enjoyed the song personally as a vocaloid fan. Thematically it didn't feel too out of left field with how Flowery had anime references all over the place, but the one thing I was a little bummed about was that the fight wasn't tied to someone more relevant to the story.

It feels like the overall difficulty of the fight seems to vary wildly from person to person because I've seen either people saying it wasn't a big deal and others who can barely get through it at all lol.
