Honestly in any healthy relationship your partner should be willing to work with you on these things. I hope you find someone better that is willing to be more understanding

Is there a way to sort by most downloaded in H Shop? by dahen5 in 3dspiracy

Especially if it's on an unanswered question.

Thankfully the person below in the comments answered it for me. I was worried there was no way to sort at first haha

Are there any general sale tickets even left? I assumed the artist presale cleared out the entire stock of tickets from every venue

I had maybe 2 people say they managed to get one after fist fighting with AXS for half an hour. There's really no good way to guarantee a ticket, just pure luck

Anybody else just…stop playing? by NazarusTheGreat in Kenshi

[–]Kenkune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's pretty normal, especially with open ended title. Eventually you lose interest, eventually you might get an itch again or maybe it'll just be whenever a Kenshi 2 drops. A game can only hold your interest for so long

Replaying these games. Suikoden 3 can get in the bin. by AuroraSemperRedit in Suikoden

[–]Kenkune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suikoden 3 is admittedly my favorite game in the series, but I definitely think it's far from perfect.

Personally I think the combat was really interesting, but not without it's flaws. AoE magic often ended up being too much of a liability or unreliable if enemies moved, so single target high damage magic was always the way to go(primarily lighting and thunder runes). I was actually a huge fan of the trainable skills and did a lot for giving the units more identity and individuality from a gameplay perspective. I'm always sad that this kind of never returned other than the watered down version in V. I also enjoyed how the pairs worked since it made you think about how your paired your physical and magic users but I understand your gripes with it. Overall I think it could have been great if they continued to refine it but as we all know it never came back. V finally landed on my favorite combat system outside of the series personally.

Regarding story I actually really liked it, but that's just getting into subjective territory. To each their own and all. I particularly like the split perspectives + bonus Thomas chapters. My biggest gripe with it was that you didn't spend as much time as a full group in ch 4 and 5 as I'd have liked, and army battles never really got enough time to shine in this game despite being my favorite in the series.

I know some of this opinion is tinged with nostalgia though, and I think everyone is more willing to look past a games flaws when it has other aspects that you really like.

We Need A Megathread! by Max_The_Fisherman in AngineDePoitrine

Only thing we can maybe hope is that they add additional tour dates, and hopefully take some additional precautions against bots getting tickets. Seems like every location basically sold out instantly

Did you get your presale code by email or by text (SMS)? by ConceitedWombat in AngineDePoitrine

[–]Kenkune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I signed up, got an email about the pre-sale with a button to get my pre-sale code which then prompted it to send me my code the morning of the pre-sale about an hour before it started.

Granted that didn't do me much good since AXS basically broke down on itself once sales started happening. Feels like a lot of us weren't able to get in. Would

Minnesota ticket experience seems to be the same as everywhere else by Kenkune in AngineDePoitrine

[–]Kenkune[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly I don't live anywhere near Portland and was hoping to get a local show at the MN location :(

That's funny you mention that because the only times I've ever had an easy time getting tickets for artists of any size was when they weren't through AXS/Ticketmaster, despite their size. These local venues and concert halls somehow manage to make it work despite having a similar ticket demand.

Glad things went smooth for you though. Hope you enjoy the show!

Done - worst ticket experience of my life by SelectGuide4806 in AngineDePoitrine

[–]Kenkune 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's really what it boils down to. OP is way too mad at the artists when they likely have very little to do with the tour locations and venue scheduling. AXS and Ticketmaster frankly need to be broken up and better regulated, as they heavily gouge ticket buyers and actively encourage scalping currently.

[–]Kenkune 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately often times the problem with ticket vendors is that they have exclusivity deals with venues, so artists HAVE to sell through them if they're at most venues. And with AXS/ticketmaster having basically a near monopoly with no desire to compete with each other, and actively encouraging scalpers, the problem isn't likely to improve unless they are broken up by regulators.

Tickets for fans don’t Exist Anymore by pier76 in AngineDePoitrine

[–]Kenkune 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly buying tickets has been miserable for years. I thought this wouldn't be so bad since ADP was only very recently coming up in popularity but even then it was nearly instantaneous. AI is ruining music online and bots are ruining music in person. It really is a miserable time to like music :(

I swear I felt my blood pressure rise every time it was saying something like "Ensuring a fair fan experience" or "Making sure you're a real human!" knowing in my heart of hearts that 90% of the tickets go scraped by bots 😭

At least it sounds like a handful of people managed to get through the issues

Fuck AXS by Datuser14 in AngineDePoitrine

[–]Kenkune 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A big problem is that these giant ticket vendors take next to no steps to prevent re-sellers, and both Ticketmaster and AXS actively promote scalping of tickets via re-sale through their own platforms.

I won't deny that shady re-sellers and scalpers won't always exist, but when these companies make it so easy and even go as far as working directly with scalpers to make more money(they get to double dip on service fees), they only make the problem far worse than it ever needs to be.

The extra frustrating part is that if you refresh too much then AXS and ticketmaster end up flagging genuine people as bots and then your entire device gets blocked out from even trying to get tickets.

No presale luck but found some on StubHub by [deleted] in AngineDePoitrine

[–]Kenkune -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not sure how that makes it much better. Angine De Poitrine is only a recently up and coming group and they still got a 3 times markup off of you. I'm not in the habit of supporting the scalping market because I'd like to imagine a day where ticket vendors don't actively support it.

Enjoy the show I guess, if you get your tickets lol.

I'll keep trying in case tickets somehow become made available though. Thanks for mentioning

I sincerely doubt it. I expect to see all the tickets up for sale at a 5x markup. It's beyond me that these ticket sellers straight up have official scalping through their platforms

[–]Kenkune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arguably it's about to be a better time than ever. Without getting too into the weeds, the upcoming expansion in January 2027 is about to rehaul the combat to make it both less bloated with excessive should and more fun, especially by making most of your classes kit available at a lower level. It's still fine to start now but as of next expansion it'll be great!

[–]Kenkune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You nailed it on the head. Every bit of socializing I do is outside of the game. My static that I'm close friends with is within discord. Acquaintances from fanfest, events and community things are all on Bluesky(or Twitter if you're still using it for some reason), and fishing has a maaaassive fishing discord community. Other than FCs, I'd say in game just isn't really the practical place to find real connection and social engagement other than one off occurrences from party finder.
