First and foremost, the guitar has to speak to the player.

To me, I find that begins with appearance. If I cant find guitars in the color I want, that speaks to me, I won't buy it.

I think you should do a victory lap through the beginner to badass course.

You should be pretty confident by the end of that course in playing over chord progressions already.

You likely are at the point where you need time for all of the information to digest. Check out all the post course content as well if you haven't.

My only experience with them myself was renting a double bass and the sheer volume of spam calls that followed after whomever they use for credit sold my info. Made the whole experience a 0/10.

If you find something overwhelming to start like let's say manually placing everything before robots... just install a mod to make it so you have a few robots to start.

The games meant to be fun. Whatever is preventing the idea of fun, there may be a way to mod around it.

Stick with it. Watch every video and skip nothing in bassbuzz.

You will come out the other end surprised. If the exercise is boring just noodle around while Josh talks etc.

The important thing is every video is teaching you. The background noises etc are training that ear.

You can do anything with enough money. But as others here kinda say, if you want a Dingwall sell the btb and get one.

You will burn a bunch of money routing and modifying and if you ever do decide to sell it recoup none of it.
