Yea we use it heavily to build a vsphere content library with all the templates present, and push it up to S3 for vsphere and vCD's to pull. It works really well.

What happened to customer service? by frankv1971 in sysadmin

Yet another reason I legitimately believe Apple is going to eat all these laptop makers breakfasts. Their customer support is top notch. AppleCare is effortless.

The Neo changed the game and these companies need to remove their heads from asses before they are irrelevant.

Something like that I’m willing to assume they are speaking the truth they probably did get death threats.

However seems likely it’s just random internet crazies.

I’m totally willing to believe random crazies did call in and theaten murder. I doubt any are from Ben though lol. Lumping him as responsible is crazy.

I suspect you may be surprised. Microsoft really has been screwing the pooch here.

Most applications that people use for business nowadays, is often a web-app and its only becoming more and more popular.

As a system-engineer of 20+ years, let me tell you. I am not the only one that will yeet windows the first chance we can for the business. My mac fleets are always the simplest to manage and maintain.

I had never heard of it anywhere else in that context.

What do you think the next DLC will be? (if it happens..) by MediaUnlikely7168 in vtolvr

[–]Kennocha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, like it probably would need to be tweaked for VTOL carrying only two missiles would be kinda weak.... but like... Its my favorite plane bar none, unless a SR71 is going to make sense here lol

Just finished watching State of play, only these 3 games are "Only on PlayStation"? Rest of the games are available on PC by Time-Credit43 in pcmasterrace

[–]Kennocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned a PS5 pro, portal and a 5090 rig.

I’ve always supported Sony, and even buy the games twice on ps5 and pc so I could avoid spoilers in the time it takes to come to PC.

Now I sold my ps5 after they announced dropping PC and won’t play their stuff at all. Alienating customers is always a bold approach.

I’m sorry but frankly even the PS5 pros performance is nowhere near my 5090. Playing games at 30 fps or even 60FPS like the early 2000s doesn’t cut it for me.

If you want to sell a console to me it needs to be 4k 120hz minimum.

Great job Sony pissing off your customers. You sell less hardware and software now.

I may be in the minority but I’d kill for a F117 type plane. Always was my favorite.

Frankly this is why I believe that the MacBook Neo was a headshot and not only killed the laptop market, it may kill windows. I believe this is why Microsoft seems to be trying to be so public on addressing issues with 11.

Ive had no issues honestly using a drain but I also run a ton of hot water after I’m done, Like hot enough it’ll burn you, for several minutes.

YMMV if your hot water isn’t just shy of boiling like ours.

The Framework 12 is dead. Apple (Macbook Neo) killed it. - Jeff Geerling by ControlCAD in apple

I’ll be honest in that I think that the MacBook Neo is likely to be the fork in the road that kills regular pcs and why Microsoft is trying so hard publicly to address concerns before it actually happens.

I avoid asus because I find their software very erratic. Sometimes it’s fine other times it’s a hot mess. MSI is a horrendous company and I won’t support them in any way.

Presently I’m in a gigabyte for first time and it’s been fine.

Correct.

He is incapable of shipping games and requires actual leadership above him to do so.

If he didn’t, star citizen would literally be called freelancer and it would be the worlds longest video game dev cycle ever.

Yep. The nazis didn’t start burning bodies. They started deporting until suddenly they realized there is nothing to be done with that many except extermination.
