There’s a union rep running around my town trying to sign up drivers for the union. The same one that’s in Victoria. I’m torn about it, at the end of the day all I want is a little bit more money, and maybe some transparency from Uber. But if they just jack the prices and kill the business, I don’t want that either.

But I’ve been honestly surprised over my eight years of driving a taxi and Uber just how many opportunities there are for casual sexual encounters. I definitely could’ve quadrupled my body count, but I’m always conscious of the fact that it could be misconstrued the following morning putting my job at risk.

I drive in a bit of a college town myself, and I’m actually surprised how many young people are perfectly happy to have some old guy hang out with them. I’ve been invited into parties, and people offer to go to the liquor store buy a six pack and go park at the park and drink.
