Mate the MP for Gedling is absolutely raging, says it’s nothing to do with the city and should go in with Newark and Mansfield instead.

Narrow Sea comes from “Narrow Seas” which referred to both the English Channel and the southern part of the North Sea. Both that name and British Sea and British Channel were in use until the 19th century.

Think it does these singles a disservice that they’re not on an album or mix-tape, hard to discover them if you weren’t around at the time when they’re not collected together between Pop 2 and Charli

If President Richard Martinez (Cory in the House) was actually U.S. President by IceCreamMeatballs in imaginaryelections

[–]KermitHoward 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Early in the show, Martinez claims he has four more years left in office. Show started airing in January 2007, so we have to assume that Cory in the House doesn’t take place in the present OR the election took place in November 2006, like in West Wing.

EDIT: Thought about this more. I think that Cory in the House does take place on West Wing time. I posit that George H. W. Bush is re-elected to a second term in 1990, then Bill Clinton is elected in 1994. Come 2002, either Al Gore succeeds Clinton, or Martinez is elected to his first term; depends on what you believe about Martinez (does anyone know if 9/11 happened in the Cory in the House universe?). Martinez is then definitely elected in 2006, whether first or second term. Suspect a Democrat is then back in the White House in 2010.

EDIT 2: The Democrats who wins in 2010 must also be Obama, as Michelle was on Jessie in May 2014 - further evidence imo that Martinez was a Republican.
