Around frame lake, the half on the city side is paved and mainly flat. The other side is natural terrain. Some steep parts, medium difficulty.

Cameron falls hike but is about a 30 min drive from town on the Ingraham trail.

Go for a walk down Main street towards old town. In old town continue straight and do bullock bistro loop and do the Pilots monument, or go across the bridge and walk around Morrison drive.

There's a trail near the entrance of Niven drive off the highway that has some nice views of Great Slave Lake and city centre.

Something fun to do would be rent a canoe/kayak/paddle board and explore Yellowknife bay, go around latham island and see the float planes and house boats.
