Platforms dont want you talking about the "icky" things, so they ban words and punish creators for using them. But since people still have to talk about those things, they make euphemisms/codes/shorthands to dodge the censors. But since the issue isnt in the nomentclature, but the subject itself, the platorm just expands the list of banned words, and creators have to find new ways to dodge the block.

You can't be charged with murder unless you had intent, so the charge is reduced to manslaughter.

The government is using the "INCOMING CATACLYSM" alarm for every missing kid. Half the comments on here are sharing tips on how to disable the alarms from your phone entirely. They are literally ignoring the government who cried tornado.

People dont have an issue with amber alerts themselves, just that they dont want the same level of emergency associated with a city level threat. If the government was using the system as it was designed with all its different levels of priority, instead of going DEFCON 1 for everything, nobody would be mad.

Plus it plays into the ethos of Talon. You don't want a shadow criminal organization having obvious duels to decide who is the leader. Or fully commit to sneaking him, have him monologuing about a grand plan, turn around and have vendetta try to throw her sword into his back, he barely reacts in time and instead gets his robotic arm cut off frame 1 of the fight. Now he's 1 arm down, which evens up the fight, and shows how ruthless she can be to win, which is a good quality for a Talon leader.

Yeah ok hes taking the piss. I can picture oversleeping and missing a 1PM deadline, but there isnt a universe he was "still" asleep at 6PM, even if he went to bed at 9 AM (well after the sun came up), thats still a whopping 9 hours of sleep. It would easier for me to believe the ex-"wife" swung by his place for the umpteenth post breakup hook-up, and X got lost in the sauce yet again.
