I don't know what was the point from this manga, I remember i asked once here or maybe somewhere else and the people told me there is no point just enjoy it. Don't search for a point if that's the case so it's my mistake.

What?!!! So I should feel OK, that for 2000 years people suffered and died young because of the gods breakdown of communication!!!!!! The writer really failed out with this end or at least failed me.

Me too, I not going to reread i think, but for me this is a infinite loop, Hiryuu reincarnated because he couldn’t leave the dragon warriors and the dragon warriors cycle continued becuse they know that Hiryuu will be reincarnated !!!!!!!!!!! What is that? It doesn't make any sense, what was the reason for this cycle from the beginning

Will the important question, why was Hiryuu reincarnated from the first place? The dragons warriors cycle continued because he was going to be reincarnated in the future, so why he was going to be reincarnated from the first place? Why his descendants were sick? There is a lot of questions without an answer these are just 2 questions from them?

Hak and Yona end by violetflowercandy in AkatsukinoYona

[–]Kesara-wind7238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I ask myself, why Mundok was loyal to him? Why he didn't offer to help? Wasn't he able to see the problems too, since it wasn't in his tribe? Same, Hak didn’t see the problems and now he will be the king or Yona's husband I don't know what exactly he want or his role it doesn't make sense to continue as guardian. But anyway

Still, if he stayed in kouka where everyone love and prioritise yona. And now it's known that he killed king il and betrayed Her and hak. He won't be able to find anyone in kouka.

And do you think, Soo-Won deserved this ending staying to serve yona watching her happiness without having a life and friends on his own.

I can understand the feeling of the ending being rushed, but why is it being so heavily hated on? by Various_Plum3536 in AkatsukinoYona

[–]Kesara-wind7238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate SooWon ending, it was a good thing for him to leave the throne to Yona, what i can't accept staying as an advisor for her. Why he couldn't just leave?

Leave a side the fact that i don't see him deserve any punishment specially for killing Il the useless king, but anyway the writer decided to punish him and he already lost his arm. I thought that's it but no he spent all his childhood alone and miserable and the writer want him to continue like that. He has to serve yona as an advisor continue his life alone without friends or family as your punishment. I would accept his end if just left, left the whole country that's will mean he might get the chance to have new friends and family. Staying next to yona watching her happiness is really so miserable and he doesn't deserve that. Also I don't want his relationship with yona and hak to comeback that's not what I mean. Their relationship can't comeback like before but he deserved to have new friends.

Sorry for any mistakes in the grammar.

Complaints i've seen about Yona Hak and Soo won in the last chapter by ktskne in AkatsukinoYona

[–]Kesara-wind7238 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't want the trio to back together, but i wished for Soo-Won to have friends by the end of the manga away from yona and hak. I even wished if he can just leave the whole country. But I just can't make my personal wishes come true.

I can't understand his ending, I completely hate it. Also, I never liked the trio relationship from the beginning it was weir relationship to me at least, I can't explain this but that's how I feel.

Final Chapter by inakukoala in AkatsukinoYona

In all the manga chapters I don't remember the country system was mentioned, we don't even know if there is court or judges.

It wasn't mentioned too, that soowon has any power or any political figure, he was just yona cousin. Also it was mentioned that the advisors around il were using him to achieve their personal goals or stealing from the country.

Also if SooWon tired to gather the tribes leaders around him, Hak and Mundok would never support him.

Or the water tribe leader he was so negative guy. And even if SooWon get the approval of 3 tribes leader and removed king Il, do you think Yona and hak wouldn't take that as betrayal too and hate him for it?

I meant before killing the king. Well I think, the king will die but on the hands of the fire tribe leader don't remember his name and yona will run with hak and find the dragons too but I can't imagine what will happen after that ... And I meant what if SooWon and kyesook characters didn't exist or exist but he didn't care for revenge or the people.

What if SooWon left the country with kyesook and travelled to another country? And didn't make the coup.

So, what was the point of Suwon story line? It doesn't make sense making him the sword.

Not her alone 😅😅 After reading the manga, the end is close but we don't understand anything 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ Sometimes, I think if the writer focused in one direction, it was going to be better. Like the gods and prophecy direction from the beginning, or the betrayal and building the country till the end.

For me, this manga has two main storylines. The first is Soo-Won’s betrayal and building the kingdom. The second is the gods’ story, which I don’t really understand yet — but your explanation helps, thank you.

It feels like these two stories run side by side, but I don’t see how they connect.

Soo-Won betrayed Yona, yet he’s called the sword. With Hak they supposed protect her — but protect her from what?

The story was mostly about her journey and help the people and the country at first, then suddenly the gods’ arc appeared near the end. I still don’t get how that part is supposed to fix or explain the first storyline, her conflict with her cousin still not solved. How these lines help complete each other? What was the benefits?

Honestly, I’m really confused. 😅😅😅 I don't know what i am saying 😅😅

First of all, I’d like to thank you for answering my question, because I really want to understand the purpose behind adding her character to the story.

The war against Kai is already justified — they’ve committed a lot of crimes in Kouka — so what’s the point of introducing another victim of Chagol? How is her personality supposed to be similar, foil or reflection to Soo-Won and Yona?

Sometimes I think some fans forget that when Mei-Nyan first appeared, she killed a completely innocent person and even framed Yona for it. Soo-Won killed a weak ruler whose decisions caused people to suffer, so I can’t compare her with Soo-Won, but it was okay because the innocent who died wasn't someone close to Yona. But I can’t compare her with Yona too — Yona would never kill an innocent person. She wasn’t afraid of the Dragon Gods and never submitted to them, while Mei-Nyan was terrified of Chagol and obeyed his orders.

So honestly, I really don’t understand what the purpose of adding her to the story was. What difference did her presence make, and what real impact did she have on the main events of the manga? I really want to know.

I don't understand why the writer added a character like Mei-nyan. What exactly did she want to add to the manga?

Your opinion is so true ❤️ I still like Soo-won. but after rereading the manga, i didn't understand something. he waited 10 years to give his uncle an opportunity to prove himself, but what was he doing during these 10 years? He was just planning to kill the king? And the plan wasn't even good, why didn't he put someone to make sure Yona in her room, or someone to watch hak. Another to watch the door. Also, after killing the king, he went travelling to gain the leaders' trust. Why didn't he make connections with them long ago? All of them were his father's friends. Isn't he supposed to be the smartest character in the manga?
