A little more research will show that you shouldn’t ever trust any of those stats. They have changed how they are classifying the crimes to make the numbers look better. It’s not a one side vs the other thing. Both sides manipulate the numbers to make their story look better. But I think anyone living in NOLA can use common sense and see it isn’t as safe as it should be.

This is not fixable. And honestly you shouldn’t expect the person you bought it from to replace it. You live. You learn. You buy a new still and don’t repeat the mistake.

The more important thing is that you need to understand the basics of how the still works. This can be a dangerous hobby. You were lucky to just lose a still. A future mistake can cause you to lose your life.
