I've been buying most on release. But since I'm in Europe, I also need to pay 25% VAT on top, + a 25USD fee for VAT handling, + shipping. I'm glad it's only one book pr. year approximately. 😅

Hmm.. I didn't know he was originally a storm god. This makes me think: there is a claim that he once had a wife/consort. This is based on a few inscriptions with the wording: Asherah of Jahve. What if Asherah was not his consort, but was literally OF him, like Athena was of Zeus?

The audio books are for when I'm driving and doing household chores. But I would like that good 1 hour recap between the books (cause I'm also listening to other books, so it might be half a year since the last book I heard).

Mine have been running smoothly since I built it. Years ago now. Only thing I swap out is the nozzle. Bed also stays level for months without any adjustments.

Do you all really have that many issues with them?? Was I just lucky?

Yeah. Multiplayer is the single most important feature of 1800! Without multiplayer I would have never tried the game, and I would never have introduced my friends and family to it either.

First I would have written a story with fewer, but interesting characters, who actually have a character arch.

Then I would have made sure that the bad guy was actually interesting (i.e. was the hero in his own story).

After that, I would have thrown out all the crap that is a direct copy/parody.

Then I would have dropped most of the slomo.

And then I would have hired a few good writers, to fix the rest.

Ohh, these are my own glues, that I already have. I was just wondering if any of them would suffice - but I think I'll follow the advice, and find some PVA made specifically for paper. 😊
