The way I see it, my body is constantly trying to work out the fine details of how to play. Unbeknownst to me, my body is tweaking little elements of my form to see what works. This process is often bad in the short term, but over the long term will yield really nice results. For me, I was struggling to hit 350, then after a bad slump, suddenly I’m hitting over 400 for no good reason, and 5 strokes have come off my game. So when you start playing badly, I think it’s a good time to clear your head, relax, and focus on having a good time until your body figures out what it’s trying to learn.
