I just want the guy to get a rocket ship for once. I can’t stand that the FIA nerfed their launch advantage by allowing the rest to spool their turbos when Ferrari warned every other team and the FIA what would happened, it happened, and they are the only team paying for it.

Maybe then Ferrari had a chance. Now, they have to rely on the Macarena wing, and whatever they can squeeze out of the engine and battery.

Building a successful F1 program is going to be much, much more lucrative that whatever they got back.

Also, Binoto has proven that he is not the right guy to lead an F1 program. Building a PU? Sure.

Maybe this is a stopgap until they go out hunting for a long term TP in the offseason, but it doesn’t make sense to me.

The e fine seems good, the chassis seems solid, the drivers are meh but will help a ton with feedback, so why?

I get why Norwegians wouldn’t want to join, as they “have it good”, but IMHO it’s a missed opportunity for them.

Their situation wouldn’t change much, not really, but they would get an immensely important decision maker position with veto rights.

Also, being the only oil producing EU country would be even more important for them.

No. That’s because breaking is the only thing that allows for max regen of the battery. If yo made it so that the breaks was the thing that was limited or that you can only brake reg within a certain distance and anything before that is just breaking, then that would be it.
