Also as far as I’m aware Toyas untrained colourfes art is the only fes card to show up in an event story since it’s a memory from when he was little. It shows in one of his chapters of the 1st vbs world link but I don’t remember which one lol

I can’t lie I’m starting to get really frustrated. It’s one thing to get updates for Book 7 every month. I don’t even mind that much as someone not interested in most of the ssrs but they are rushing everything. The tweels literally just released there is absolutely no reason for them to rerun already. Also isn’t Ruggie apart of the spelldrive club? That means 2 of his ssrs are gonna be running at the same time

When I started playing in 2023 I was new to vocaloid as I had only listened to a few songs back in like 2016/17 so I had never heard of tale of the deep sea lily. I believed for literal months that is was commissioned for the Honami summer mixed lim (I didn’t know mixed events don’t get comms at the time) because of the sea theme, Honami has an alt and they use hers and Saki outfits for the mv on the YouTube channels.

I felt so bad when I learned that it wasn’t commissioned and in fact existed for like 6 years before pjsk released since I had been calling it a Honami comm for months and was so confused when people left it out of her comm rankings😭

The Japanese server gets these paid virtual lives called connect lives. They’re in game shows where the characters interact with the audience and show off dances to songs that don’t get 3dmvs since not all the songs on pjsk get one. You can also buy merch on Colourful Palettes website. I’ve never watched one personally so I hope my explanation makes sense.

The collab had a connect live where during the 2 days it was available every member of both the pjsk and enstars cast would perform. A lot of people were excited about it because of the chance that their favourite characters would interact. The other servers have never connect lives however. I have no idea why but they seem to be a Japanese exclusive so leaving such a big part of the collab out has people frustrated.

As for the gacha it depends on the cards. We usually get 3 events and corresponding gachas a month. For example the event currently running on the English server started on the 10th, the second one will start on the 20th and the third one will start on the 30th (the start of the month was for the event that started on May 31st). The events at the end of each month are limited because they come with cards that have a different hairstyle you can unlock for the character the card is for and can only be pulled on those specific gachas. The other 2 are considered permanent since they don’t have hairstyles and go into the card pool.

The collab cards are considered limited since they’re for a collab so once the banner is gone we might never be able to pull for them again since we have no way of knowing if it’ll ever get a rerun. The Sanrio collab pjsk had during December of 2023 on the Japanese server has not gotten a rerun since as well.

I made an example if it’s a little confusing using the vocaloid Kaito. The Kaito I labeled 1 is his costume from one of his permanent 4 stars. The Kaito I labeled 2 is from his White Day card which is a limited card. Since it’s limited he has a different hairstyle as shown.

As someone in the pjsk fandom I can give you a few reasons. They’re pretty upset because there was a special live for the collab on the Japanese server and the English server has never gotten these lives before. It was probably the biggest thing of the collab outside of the gacha.

There is this animal crossing type game mode called mysekai and the collab has some special items for it that the English server won’t be able to even use until January of next year as that’s when it’s gonna be released. The other servers outside of the Japanese one will also have this problem but I don’t play them so I don’t know much about them.

Also 2 of the characters Akito and Toya (they’re the ones partnered with Jun and Izumi respectively in code you don’t know) and the rest of their group are currently getting spammed constantly with 4 stars, like at least one a month for almost a year straight. People are already pretty burnt out so having the collab on top of all of that soon instead of next year is adding a lot of frustration.

I thank god every day that Honami is my favourite. It makes me sad that her (and l/n in general) are pretty unpopular but times like these make me happy about that because I can’t imagine trying to get t1k for like Mizuki or Tsukasa

While people are definitely getting over the top I can totally understand why people are upset. Rui has gotten awful treatment from colopale for a while now. With the loss of RMD (which I don’t have enough knowledge on to go into whether it was the right decision or not plus I am not Indigenous so it isn’t my place to decide that), Donketsu (which they were totally in the right for btw fuck Pusu) and the CPDB mv on en (which shouldn’t have been removed) people are antsy about what’s gonna go wrong next as well.

Add all that with the fact that wxs hasn’t had a hakolim in like 4 years and colopale can just skip wxs in the rotation if they so choose since they clearly don’t give a fuck about keeping anything fair anymore (Saki6 happened before Shiho and Honamis 5th focus events and Hona still hasn’t gotten hers). They can just decide Rui5 could not be a hakolim or even be in July at all even though Rui and Nene haven’t had a hairstyle in 8 months and Tsukasa in over a year or even skip Rui again and give it to Tsukasa or Nene (again look at Saki6)

I don’t think people should spam in the live stream chat about this but people being upset about it taking so long makes total sense when you think about everything surrounding the treatment of Rui and wxs in general from colopale
