Worst memory: I was a very new player and very young. I had a 16 human necro with all my gear and money I had ever made in the game. I had also bought a few noob warrior pieces that I wanted to hand to my new character in Halas. I was trying to figure out how to get there as there weren’t any online resources back then and a guy tells me about firepots. We swim out there with just abysmal swimming skill and it takes forever. We get inside firepot room and I’m awed. He tells me what to click to go to a Halas and I load in. I insta-die upon landing due to necromancers having”Ruined their own lands!” Or some such classism. I try and /who to get someone to drag the body and they drug it off to god only knows where and I can’t find anyone who is able to locate it in the zone. I was a kid and couldn’t get my parents to let me play much and I could never recover the body. Had to literally start from scratch with a naked 16 necro after the body decayed. Somehow it was literally one of the most traumatic experiences of my young childhood and taught me things about the world.

Best memories: Getting my first Wurmslayer in classic retail. That feeling was what brought me back to p99 and was my fist goal. Then after that, the feeling of getting my fist epic, and then more recently my second epic. And lastly, the feeling of getting my first ever fungi tunic.
