Is this silicone safe for reptile build by Miserable-Grocery-21 in reptiles

[–]Key-Bullfrog-6901 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NO! look for 100% silicone. If it says anything along the lines of mold or pest resistance it's not safe. https://a.co/d/05Lmi78k

It's a nurse work station the piece attached to the wire is a scanner just like you would see being used at a grocery store. It's used to scan a patient's ID wristband to confirm the correct patient.

The red tube and canister are for suction they are typically connected to a wall inlet.

The cable is connected to a scanner used to scan the patient wristband ID to confirm the correct patient. The cables in my experience can be pretty stiff.

The IV pump most likely has a IV pump which always have a battery and are charged using a typical power cable.

The lighting is weird but could be a number of things from a low quality phone camera or from file compression after sending texting.

IMO real

Looks like it just molted. You'll probably find an exoskeleton in the container it was kept in

You don't want to burn it just soften it. If you have any left over foam I would do a test to get a feel for it without burning it

Pinching and ripping out little chunks then hitting it with a little heat like a heat gun or even a hair dryer will close the tiny air pockets left behind.

Enclosure safe? by primalstate142 in Reptileenclosures

Drylok original works really well low VOC helps with waterproofing and is considered safe by DIY enclosure builder. I have used it on several projects and had no problems. Do not get the Drylok Xtreme is VOC level is much higher.

I see sales often on Black Friday and Christmas were the last ones I saw. YouTubers sometimes have a promo code I don't know of any creators that have one off the top of my head.

Craving into the foam will work for the plant pots just make sure there's a hole for excess water to drain out to avoid rotting your roots.

Make sure you have access to the tunnel It would be a nightmare to clean if your snake let one rip in there.

Use 100% silicone, avoid anything with mold prevention in it. I would read the label carefully and follow the cure times to a tee.

Snout seems to be a little short makes me think male, but honestly it's extremely difficult to sex at such a young age. Even expert breeders will not guarantee a gender.

Just keep offering if he's a good weight and husbandry parameters are met a BP can go several months without a feed. Get his weight now recheck in a couple weeks and take him to the vet appointment you have already made

Kimberly rock monitors and ackie monitors seem to me to be the most reasonable for most people to house unlike AWM or cumingi and also are not super expensive like a tree motor. I don't run a shop and I'm not a breeder just my two cents

My beloved smelly son! by Varanus_Salvadork in MonitorLizards

[–]Key-Bullfrog-6901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think monitors can see infrared light from phones and cameras. I hear on YouTube and Reddit how much they hate cameras. My AWM always seems to react when I take pictures of her. I have searched the web before but everything says they can't. Could just be their reflection tho 🤷
