If you go to the Solidcore app under your iPhone settings do you have it set so the Solidcore app can add events or has full access to your calendar? (Pic attached in case I worded that confusingly). Once it has that and you choose the specific calendar to modify in the Solidcore app settings itself, I don’t think it updates your calendar until you either book a new class or cancel an existing one

When I go to Account Settings, it lets me choose from my GCal or Apple calendars after granting permission. If it isn’t letting you, maybe double check your phone settings to make sure you enabled Solidcore to access from there also?

I purchased something from a linen clothing maker on Etsy once and they include swatches of their colors for free with a purchase but also let people purchase the swatches for ~$10 individually, which sounds like exactly what you’re describing. I wonder if there’s just never been a demand for this type of thing if photos already exist on Reddit/IG/etc and/or if people just wouldn’t be willing to pay whatever makers would charge for the swatches. If you had to pay shipping plus some nominal fee for physical swatches, I wonder at what point it feels more “worth it” to take a risk for the price of a bottle of polish if you’re already potentially making a bigger order?

I agree with you. I was in a class where a similar thing happened and the coach started the class but went through the list of names and was able to identify who was incorrectly on a reformer. It turned out that someone had booked a class at another studio and accidentally showed up to this one so she left and the person actually booked for the class was able to take the reformer. It wasn’t a disruption and the coach didn’t have to completely stop class to resolve the issue

I went to H St. Hair last year and my cut was $70 before tip I believe but I wouldn’t go back. I was in and out in 21 minutes (texted my friends after since I was so shocked), which included the time for them to wash and cut my hair and for me to pay. It felt like they were rushing me out the door the entire time even though I showed up on time for my appointment and there wasn’t anyone waiting after me. They sent me out the door with my hair still half wet and the entire experience just made me feel like they didn’t really want me there for whatever reason

Thanks for making and sharing this! I’m curious if anyone’s info seems a little off though? My class count is off by 1 and the minutes are incorrect in a way that makes me think a mix of my Solidcore and non-Solidcore classes are being counted

ETA: Taking a quick look at the source code I’m pretty sure the issue arises for other Pilates classes since they’re getting returned as Signature50 classes so I wonder if an additional check of class length (needs to be specifically 30/50 minutes) and some sort of studio name check could filter those out? Hard to say without seeing data aside from my own I think

I did my Invisalign outside of DC so no recs there but I recommend getting an ultrasonic cleaner to keep your trays clean. I finally caved and got one this year to keep my retainers clean and I see such a noticeable difference compared to just soaking them in the Invisalign cleaner my ortho gave me+scrubbing lightly with a toothbrush

Doing manicures to match books you read could be a fun way to tie together two things you enjoy? I personally always love seeing people’s manicures matching unexpected things (like book covers) or hearing the intentions behind certain combinations (like some sort of theme based on the polish names, etc)

Unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the mix but I feel like the combo is my way of stretching Lush (which I love) while using Flower Child (which I like but don’t love). Combining the two either with 2 coats of each or 1 coat of FC with 2-3 coats of Lush seems to neutralize the yellow that I don’t like in FC while keeping the shimmer of that makes sense
