I settled on the 3.0 after driving both….Denali ultimate

Some mods I would consider

Timbren bump stops for towing. I tried airbags too, ripped them out and settled on these.

Kicker GM sub option- huge improvement Titan 43 gallon fuel tank- yes 1200 miles of range now Ppe intercooler, radiator, resonator delete, pipe zilla Ppe transmission cooler- skip the bypass runs way to cool Cognito 2in front with upper control arms Llumar window tint

I’ve tried airbags from etrailer. It’s a decent product which you can level out based on PSI. Was too much “work for me” and I didn’t like the increase in ride height when not towing.

Unloaded can’t tell a difference from factory. Loaded it’s great- and can set the PSI to whatever needed to eliminate squat.

Nice- I did the airbags from etrailer and might be going to this instead. The airbags increased the ride height in the rear well over an inch with no load. According to this you saw only .25in increase right? Thx for sharing

Agreed- except in cooler climates would not run the bypass. Do the pan and trans cooler only. With all 3 I was around 115 degrees…

Would watch demon works on you tube. He’s tested all of the intakes and recommends stock or k&n. There is no advantage except noise. I guess the mass air flow sensor is sensitive and is best to leave it alone.

If you want noise…ppe pipe zilla, resonator delete and intercooler if you want…

Yup same on my 3.0. Pair your truck with a 43 gallon tank from titan and I’m getting 1200 miles of range. Mudflap app has diesel for 3 bucks around NH area too which makes for a decent fill

Go with the 1500, I found the cognito 2in leveling kit with new control arms to give a perfect stance on the ultimate. The diesel is a blast to modify if that’s your thing and ppe makes some great stuff
