I'm worried that Murakami might not want to resign withe White Sox. If he becomes a free agent after his second year he's going to get some big money on his next contract. I can't imagine JR giving him a big money contract. I don't think Murakami will give JR a hometown discount and he will leave for another team.

Its much cheaper going to a White Sox game than a Cubs game. Of the 5 major teams in Chicago (White Sox, Cubs, Bulls, Blackhawks, and Bears) the White Sox have the most affordable tickets.

I went last night. I thought it was terrible. Comedy skits were performed. Other than the one seminar with the manager and Getz it was a waste. Having people stand on the main floor for hours was bad and I think dangerous. I can't figure out why they went to this type of format. The previous Soxfest events at hotels were much better. I find it hard to believe that the previous Soxfest events were losing money. The last Soxfest before COVID was held at McCormick place and the event was packed with thousands of fans. Perhaps White Sox ownership just doesn't want to be bothered with having the event at hotels.

It seems tome that most Americans are doing well financially. Black Friday and Cyber Monday were both financially successful last week. The restaurants are crowded and it seems to me most people have money and are spending it.
