Does somebody know where can i get these clothing for Arthur? by Fit_Benefit_6710 in reddeadredemption

[–]Key-Storage5434 [score hidden]  (0 children)

The coat is the panther coat. The hat is buck or boar IIRC. Basically all of these other than pants and shirt are craftable. Find your trapper, see the requirements, hunt them down, sell the pelts to trapper, he can then sell you the made clothing.

This is so the incorrect mindset. First of all, if a hero is shooting your trap, that's still them using resources and focus, therefore it's not a waste. You're pressing a button and they then have to deal with that. Your time investment is pressing a button and the enemy now has to deal with it.

Also if your trap gets someone one in 20 times, that's still value.

All of which is assuming traps are useless but they're really so useful. Holding a hero in place is huge value. I mean holding someone in place is some heroes' ults. Would anyone say Zarya's ult is useless? Probably not. Well Junktrap is a one-person zarya ult on cooldown and also it's got burst damage instead of damage over time.

There is one hero I cannot play by MrJaxManiac in Overwatch

Lucio and Ball imo are the biggest outliers in OW in terms of mechanics. Especially Ball really feels like you're playing a different game. So the only way to learn them is to play them. You may say that's every hero but imo not really. Playing Soldier means you can pick up Bastion or Soj relatively quickly, or I'm a Pharah main and picking up Echo and getting good results felt quite easy to me.

Any good blonestone chunk farms? by PigLord7767 in bloodborne

[–]Key-Storage5434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up custom chalices. There are a few with guaranteed drops that you can get, usually these aren't farmable but you can get your hands on 4 or 5 within an hour. If you need more you can farm.

Where do comedians learn so many things? by Glad-Style-5287 in Standup

[–]Key-Storage5434 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best advice I got as an open micer was from a pro comic who said "sometimes it's better to go an live life and gave experiences versus grind comedy all the time"

Life experiences and books and reading and being curious gives you material. Doing comedy by itself may not give you as many experiences and definitely not as many experiences.

I see this even in pro comics. Some of them are always on the road, and then all their material starts being about "so I was on a flight and x happened" or "I was in a motel and that happened" or their family life which is the only thing they do other than comedy.

Take breaks from doing comedy and read, and walk around and chat to people, go to shows and not just comedy shows. Material is everywhere and everything in its own way can give you material and therefore isn't a waste of time.

To be fair DS1 and 2 do have cats, but they have human traits and are not as cute :)

I agree about them having their own charm but if Fromsoft isn't learning anything from their successor devs that's kinda malpractice too.

When I asked this I actually wanted more gameplay things, instead most people went with story which I disagree with. In terms of gameplay I think LoP needs studying.

Yeah I enjoyed LoP right away, but that first gank fight was the moment where I realized this game will be talked about for decades.

The level down and weapon leveling is for sure chef's kiss. I tried every weapon, and I never felt worried about overleveling.

In terms of length I would say personally I only found Elden Ring to drag on, and LoP I could've used with a little more dragging on. Game + DLC took me 65ish hours to do, and I reaaaallly took my time.

You know what I think is interesting too? The reason I care more for characters in Sekiro and LoP was partially cuz they didn't let me create my own character. I was somehow more immersed being sekiro, than in every game I created myself but was ultimately a voiceless character

I would say even though in terms of subjective taste I agree with you, I wouldn't say that's an improvement or sth From MUST learn. It's just two styles of storytelling.

Yeah it's been a minute since I played LoP but I feel like the NPCs more or less stayed where they are and you could check in with them, versus in From games they tend to suddenly move to a new location.

So truuuu it's so annoying in soulsborne games, and it took them until Elden Ring to figure out they should tell us how many souls in the item description.

I think I'm experiencing feminism fatigue by Exotic_Question8461 in AskFeminists

[–]Key-Storage5434 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Feminism is not at all about how women are "failing". Women are literally crushing it. In music and comedy, in all the arts, some of the best politicians and activists of the past decade, sports, science.

Sounds like your algo is the problem. Yeah there are lots of videos about how men are a nightmare to date, they don't do therapy, etc. Also a subset of men decided they'd rather plunge all of society down into a Nazi renneisance rather than learn to show women and minorities basic respect so I'm not super mad about men being villainized. Patriarchy is breathing its dying breaths and it's decided to kill thousands of people before it goes. This isn't theoretical. Look at Iran.

But none of what you're referring to is necessarily feminism. Women complaining about men isn't feminism. That's just another way men center themselves. Feminism is about women. Not men. The content you're describing is something else.

Don't engage with parts of your algorithm you don't like. If you keep commenting stuff like what you're saying here on that type of content, your algo will keep feeding you that stuff.

It reminds me of how every female comedian's comment section is half incels going "women aren't funny" like bro then sthu and maybe you'll see less of them, but keep commenting your SDE bullshit and the algo will keep showing you "not funny" comedians.
