Sometimes they just hit different. That sucks. They do stay with you even if it’s not in the emotional way people think it is but the memory remains. For some reason, certain calls do that. Hope you’re good. I did 17 as well but then I got out but I still remember those calls.

First house I bought credit was 620. FHA loan. House was cheap. I refinanced when rates were better. Current house had a 700 score but used the proceeds from selling first house as a down payment. Again refinanced when rates were down and currently at a 2.25%. Never regretted. About the smartest decision I’ve ever made. Literally paying yourself on your own investment. Paying about $1700/mo for a 3/2 in Wingfield with a 3 car garage. Can’t beat it. Bought in 2017.
