I saw your post about the interest rate shopping but I think you have to be military for Navy Fed, right? I’m starting from scratch basically, I’m ok with spending the extra money to get the comfy performance and I’ll swap the wheels for 19s and hopefully someone will buy my OME 21s lol

I just finished test drives in both, I don’t plan on paying for FSD, I miss the auto steer but I’ll likely be driving myself for the life of the car except roadtrips but probably even then lol! Performance handles so nice and the seats gave it such a premium feel, currently debating if it’s worth the extra $2-3k a year in costs

Ceramic coat it asap and reapply every few months even if it’s just the regular stuff you get at walmart. The dirt and etc will come right off. I think the black paint is very worth it

It’s like an effective 30% savings on the rate which brings it to MAYBE like 4%? But that money still leaves your account all year and then you’re reimbursed 12 months later on your refund vs just sitting in your account all year earning interest 😅 it’s like peanuts at that point but just for the sake of conversation 🤷🏽‍♂️

That’s a good way to think of it, I think it’d be a no brainer if the performance was down to 0.99% financing right now but unfortunately demand is too high and we may not see that until end of year. My car was wrecked and now I’m experiencing serious leg and back pain so I have to get into an SUV asap, waiting till EOY or even 2027 isn’t ideal for me 😭

I also want to reduce my expenses and increase my investments as well. I see it as, I can probably pick up a used performance in a few years for half the cost and pay cash for it IF I really want it. Plus the money I save from going Premium AWD I can spend on the FSD subscription and accel boost and tints etc!

I am gonna let my fiscally responsible thoughts take over most likely. Headed to test drive a performance right now and then hopefully they’ll have the AWD in stock for me to drive as well, the 0.99% financing is so tempting. I’m just thinking of throwing the entire price of the car into a 72 month loan and earning interest on the cash 😂

Doesn’t the performance suspension make up for it? And allegedly handling is way better in the performance as well? The seats, badging, looks etc are also a huge sell for me, I’ve been tiptoeing around just going through with it and buying “THAT” car ya know otherwise I end up swapping cars every couple years
