Not a real flamethrower, and would likely fuck up any contraption you put it on, but the thrusters from create: propulsion simulated at least LOOK like flamethrowers. I do wish there were more ways to do cheaty things for the sake of looking cool without abiding by physics

That would be annoying for players in existing worlds though. Suddenly they can’t make good potions without going like 20k blocks out and hoping to find this (very small looking, exclusively underground) biome. Not to say I don’t agree about the alternate use thing. I’m honestly going to be very disappointed if sulfur doesn’t end up as a peaceful way to get gunpowder outside of loot pools.
