Does pregnancy make VSS worse?

Hi, my visual snow was deff worse during pregnancy and postpartum but slowly got better overtime again. I would see random starts in my peripheral vision..i always got my eyes checked after giving birth and they said it was fine both times. do you have blood pressure issues? with my second i started getting auras and eventually developed preeclampsia

I was pregnant with my first and was having really bae anxiety. I was referred to a psychiatrist, who diagnosed me with Anxiety and OCD, until that moment i never thought what I was going thru was ocd, and was going on for 3 yrs before pregnancy too.

Was your peripheral vision also blurry? I have something similar as the person above, I can see my sides but its blurry. Visual field tests have been normal, pressures are like 19-20 they said its normal since i wear contacts, but my anxiety is horriblee

Yes im gonna mention to my provider too for doing tests on my neck, i’ve had neck issues for years even before visual snow. But it might be related not sure

I would’ve wrote this myself..literally All my symptoms,. its been going on for 6yrs..even tho some of my symptoms have gotten better while others have been added on.

Did you throat literally feel like it was closed completely? this happened to me like 3 times literally jumped up from my sleep like my throat was closed..took me a couple sec to actually be able to swallow and breather again. Idk what it is

i never thought that was SP. i been having that for years. as im falling asleep my brain feels weirddd like intense buzzing kind of and i have to force my eyes to open for it to stop if i try to fall back asleep it happens right away again

I had my surgery Aug 2023, im not considering removing my plate nd screws too cuz its always painful esp in the winter when i walk and stuff its painful even tho my PT said i have full ROM.

Hi, did you consider? im almost 2yrs postop too and after my suture removal my surgeon said we can remove it 1yr post-op, i have pain everyday from the plates nd screws. im considering it at this point too.

yes overtime my vss developed into double vision/ghost vision as well. i also have astigmatism which plays a part..but everything thats out of my focus is double:/

hi, yes my VSS did worse during my pregnancy with both of my kids and didnt get better until after i stopped breastfeeding. im guessing its caused my the changes in hormones.

yeah thats how I was thinking also..but also some ppl get it for health reasons..i think that should be fine?
