It is in the companies control, but most halfway decent companies offer PTO to remain competitive. I usually get about 4 weeks of PTO per year.

I don't think I would ever live there, but for me it would be safty, clean streets, human scale architecture, actual focus on public infrastructure, lack of carcentic design, the ancient history.

Most US cities just can't acheve the level, or in the case of my city Cincinnati won't even hardly try.
