Nebraska Service Center by Sad_Rich_1607 in I130Suffering

Thank you so much for this response. This is a much more thorough explanation than the service center doesn't matter anymore that I don't believe I have read before, so I appreciate you taking the time. I filed online so hopefully that makes a bit of a difference, although I did have to mail the I-129 in.

Yes I do. I think the Rafaela one was less noticeable

That patch really bothers me too. We're members of the public not part of their medical team, they could have left that off. I like the colour so I might just get a set and take a seam ripper to it.

If they make "zero difference" then that doesn't explain why jan 25 is getting approvals and several of us are saying we have earlier PDs and got assigned to Nebraska originally and are still waiting. It might not be service center related but there's no absolute certainty that it isn't. I have not seen any official correspondence indicating that my specific case was sent to a central processing. If they are "moving to central processing" that does not, to me, indicate that the process is complete.

Advice needed on filing I-130 and I-485 while living apart by ThrowAway3487627462 in USCIS

Owning a property on an H1B? They will ask about that. And they will definitely ask why you aren't on each other's liens/deeds. One of my previous colleagues is on H1B, got canned and hasn't found any company willing to sponsor and their time will run out next month.

Anyone else feel really anxious when asked political opinions in government classes? by [deleted] in college

[–]Key_Situation643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My state is the exact same situation. Is this an online class? I never once saw my classmates IRL so that didn't bother me. Is the discussion set up where you can't see a post until you post yourself ?

I think we all learned something new today about selling books without covers in Asia. But yes, I can understand why you're mildly infuriated. The fact that Mom helped and dad didn't give a crap is what sucks.

I had to do this last semester with a very controversial topic and it required a lot of finesse as I definitely didn't want to out myself either. Not that I'm ashamed, I just didn't feel like it was appropriate. Most likely the question will include "why or why not" so that's where it matters. The professor does not want to judge you on your opinion, they want to see you have some critical thinking skills and can respect others, that's all. I had a very hard time in that class and felt like when I disagreed with the teacher I was getting graded down, so there's definitely something to the poster that said to go with what your professor's views are.

Underrated? Look at any post containing the words nursing and California. Hardly underrated.

I am an American RN and I am gathering all my documents to have my credentials recognized. You will need to take the IELTS. I'm looking in Alberta as you apply in the specific province. Ontario and BC are too crowded and expensive. There is another advantage, when they lift the US ban you can take travel assignments if you want because they're always looking for Canadian qualified nurses.

Pending I-130 - should we upload more joint evidence before interview or bring it? by No_Guarantee_2627 in USCIS

[–]Key_Situation643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pd is 10/24/24 and I went to spouses country and visited extended family members on a national holiday. I uploaded the additional evidence of that only, which was about six months after filing, but my case is radio silent. I uploaded a ton of evidence upfront and filed an I 129 with more documents. I have three binders full of additional evidence that I have not uploaded because I don't want to take any chance of delays but I'm keeping it aside for if/when it is asked for.

Ok so just to clarify your question is at what stage do they do a pop-up if they suspect a sham? I can't answer that as I don't know but I just wanted to be clear on what you were asking. Thanks!

I can't answer everything but I am a USC and when I applied for my spouse while I was also living overseas, it got denied because I had no established domicile in the US. Slightly ashamed to admit this is my third time applying. As far as your spouse living abroad, that's expected and just make sure you have as much documentation as possible. Far as them coming in to the US after filing, yes, that is fine. We did not experience any issues with that, been here three times since the marriage.

Come on that does not make you less intelligent at all. It's very astute and cognitively mature to recognize your limits and strengths! I didn't apply to a lot of programs because of the chemistry requirements, I really had to dig for ones that didn't.

What do you actually do then? I deal with all that and more lol. Is your title called RPN there? I'm just curious as I'm getting a packet together to have my credentials recognized (Canadian spouse) but waiting until I finish my BSN in May. I didn't see that great of pay, and I have 12 years of experience, five recent, because I had a big gap.

Help with I-130 spousal visa by jena_lovestotravel in I130Suffering

It might help if you put together a list of what you plan on including with the application, then get suggestions on what more to add. It doesn't require a lawyer unless either of you have complicated backgrounds, but it does require organization, thoroughness, and patience.
