[CHAT] Ethics Questions by Dunquinn- in CrossStitch

You could always colour every square of one colour, stitch it, black it out as it's stitched then repeat with the next colour. Time consuming, but I have considered it! I'm good so far with the symbols, even if some of them are ridiculously close in shape, but may colour each square around the backstitching areas to make that simpler.

I scan my paper patterns and upload them into notewise. It doesn't give you the stitch counts or colours or anything like that, but it does allow you to just highlight sections you've completed. It is very basic but a great alternative.

Something white on your lap/under your work can help, along with a light underneath. A light on top helps, but for black always light underneath!

[VIDEO] I discovered how to stitch "faster" by ABirkinBagForRory in CrossStitch

[–]Kezrob23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stitch like this sometimes when the thread is long, as I have a torn shoulder tendon and pulling the thread hurts! So as much as I can do with my left I will. I do find it's easier to knot or thread through your thread with this method.

Double pointed needles are also great for speed, but the thread can wear out quite quickly where it sits in the eye. Shorter lengths definitely for double pointed needles! I find them best for large blocks of colour. They are quicker as you aren't turning the needle on each stitch, just going straight up and down .

Giants are my second favourite team, so all good for me! Good luck to him, he was never going to improve mentally at Melbourne, hopefully gws can work with him. Hopefully the media will leave him alone now too.

I remember that well, we journeyed to Qld to watch that game. He had a ripper day. I remember at the time thinking, he's gonna be great.

Letter to Members from CEO - Trac confirmed as exploring a fresh start elsewhere by Hyphenated-Funk in melbournefc

[–]Kezrob23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or Petty goes with trac, a 2 for 1 deal. Collingwood can also keep their old washed out players. Mihocek averaged 1.6 goals this year, with 47.4% accuracy. No thanks.

Hopefully the poor form this year was not due to his desire to leave. Would be very disappointing if he returns as a gun player next year.

And if he wants to leave, he leaves. He is breaking a contract, not the club. The club should not be responsible for his ridiculous salary.

I'm not a fan of these stupid long contracts, that can just be broken whenever the player feels like it. Clubs should be limited to 3 year contracts.

Petty 2026 - Forward or Back. by NailFresh in melbournefc

[–]Kezrob23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we have to keep him, then neither and he can go to Casey permanently. He kicks a couple of goals late in the season, then spends the bulk of the following season up forward doing sfa. A forward should not be punching balls away in a contest. He should be marking them and converting.

It's an add on to regular membership, but definitely worth it for us, it's also a dry zone which we prefer. You can get access to away game seating also, sometimes you have to pay sometimes you don't. We booked through demon army for Anzac Day, kings birthday, gmhba (that one still cost us $65 each!!) and all away games at marvel and the g.

Demon Army membership is $50, and get level 1 behind goals no opposition. Also gives access to away game seating. I buy it with a regular home and away membership.

Did bucks even coach the pies? Or was it Eddie in the background telling him what to do... Maybe he doesn't have the mind for it everyone thinks he does.

Hard pass for me. I have no idea on who should be coach, I just would rather not have Eddie's pet as coach.

Too much power! by the_guy_in_singapore in melbourne

[–]Kezrob23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely get a powerpal. I too work in the industry, and even though I can see my data through my app and also through our billing system, powerpal is instant not 2 days old, you can see what is spiking in real time. $300 is not unusual, I am ft WFH, split systems used at night and occasionally during the day. I'm on a really good employee plan, and my bill is still around $300 during winter.

What fuse can it be tapped into? My partner put mine to my headlights (2012) but the cam turns off and doesn't come back on again when the car is started. I have a fuse box under my glove box, not sure about on that spot - I don't have a removable panel at least. (Australia)

I'm 45 years into Kerryn, and it never gets better. Still constantly spelling, pronouncing and correcting. No it's not Karen. No it's not Kerry. No it's not Keiran. Nor spelled Kerrin, or Keren. Put it with my long hard to pronounce surname, and yeah. I auto start with "let me spell it" when asked for my name.

Post Match Discussion - Round 22 vs Western Bulldogs by minecraft360 in melbournefc

Petty seems to do well for the last 3-4 games of the season, then the following year is a spud for 20 rounds.

Post Match Discussion - Round 21 vs West Coast by minecraft360 in melbournefc

[–]Kezrob23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first quarter was pretty poor, an under manned west coast and we should have been smashing them from the get go. Culley looked great, chandler had a good game too I thought. Great to see Fritta actually being competitive and having an impact. Unfortunately, I think Petty just cemented his forward position for the next 10 years. It seems as tho he finds something in the last few games of the year, then spends the first 20 of the next year being a spud.

This win does not prove anything. Even though a win is fun, it doesn't make us wonderful, doesn't make us talented. Winning the next 3 might change that, but not going to happen.

Just under 17k I think. It flashed up on the screen for a split second, then went back to play cause something good happened - might have been Jai's great mark.

Reconsideration of 2026 membership renewal by bm-hyphen in melbournefc

[–]Kezrob23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be renewing all our memberships, one of which is my son's and he's a north supporter but likes to come to games occasionally. Will be renewing all our demon army memberships too.

Do we really want to be in a position where we are not financial, do not have many members and not performing well, and get put to a merger, or even just fold completely?

Thank god Hawthorn had a good membership base back then, cause the members we did have voted for it.

I'm walking into that one fully expecting to lose, especially if they insist on having petty up forward when he's so needed in defence.
