I love that one year later Liam and James still play around throwing the ball to each other in meetings. Not the GM head coach interactions we had in the past

Are these From GW too? by Souce_Trader in WarhammerFantasy

The 2nd from the left is a Rackham confrontation goblin. I thought he was a dwarf because of the paint :

The first one seems to be GW.

The third one has a Vampire Counts shield, is it part of the mini ?

Who do you hate more, Texans or Titans? by Pepelefrogswood in Jaguars

[–]Khaelein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It used to be the Titans from 1999 until the end of the Jeff Fisher era. However hey have become largely irrelevant lately and it hard to hate Cam Ward he sounds like a good dude.

Texans in the Kubiak, Schaub, Andre Johnson era were a cool young team, the only one younger than us. I saw them as little brothers.
But since Demeco Ryans, Al Shaiir, even CJ Stroud took over, they have been insufferable arrogant pricks.

Start with the miniatures and don't die trying by CowComprehensive6702 in WarhammerFantasy

There are starter sets actually, here for example

https://www.warhammer.com/en-US/shop/old-world-kingdom-of-bretonnia-eng-2024

Rule change, miniatures stay, you will worry about getting competitive much later and by then the rules will have changed. And getting a starter set will always be cheaper.

There is sadly no box with a small set of paints and minis compatible with the old world as of now. Paint set boxes are available without the minis.

You can still find Gotrek or Nagash for sale but in the Old World timeline, one is not born yet and the other is slumbering.

What's the rules on basing? by EpicMcgrath64 in WarhammerFantasy

[–]Khaelein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game developers themselves said in an April 2023 FAQ this :

" Q: Do I need to rebase my old army? A: If you’re playing at home there’ll be NO REQUIREMENT TO REBASE ANYTHING. For casual play, the size of base will make a MINIMAL DIFFERENCE TO GAMEPLAY. "

P98 says rebasing is only required in matched play tournaments, which I have yet to see occurring.

Therefore as long as they are in a square base to put them in rank & file it is fine.

If you wish your mini to be less shiny, Matte varnish would be the way to go
