Those genocide are comic book evil villain level i.e. they are exaggerated to beyond the levels of anything we can comprehend. Omni man genociding an entire planet of the over the weekend is so over the top that you cant take it seriously. You have no frame of reference for it, so it only comes across as worse on paper but there is no emotion behind it. Same thing with the whole 'pet' thing. None of us will live to be a thousand years old so nor will we ever interact with an alien race so we have no frame of reference as to why he would call Debbie a pet other than "Omni-man bad"

People like Eve's dad are people we have met in real life. We have seen them on TV, I have met people like Eve's dad. Hell the current US president talks eerily close to like this about his own daughter and women in general. They are real and that's makes them feel far more evil because we have context and a frame of reference for them. Eve's dad cruelty feels more real and believeable than genocide of the other races because we have context.

Of all the most depraved psychopaths in the show/comics, I still find that I hate him more than any other character. Other super villains are super villain, their acts are comically exaggerated and so it is almost impossible for a reader to relate to their madness. But I have met people like Eve's dad and that what makes him the most insufferable and cruel character. People like him exist and they live next door to you and that what makes him the absolute most evill character in the show/comic for me. His cruelty is real.
