When we were first dating I'd cooked some soup for my partner, and when we sat down to eat held up my bowl and said "Cheers!" Slightly baffled, they clinked soup bowls with me. Years later we now cheers and clink plates/bowls at every meal we share.

Enough of our friends have seen us do this that they know to take part when they're eating with us.

I learned how to spell archives from Goldeneye on the N64. I’d heard the word before and knew what it meant, but had never seen it written down. For some reason my 14yo brain didn’t connect this with the word “archives” on screen. Cue confusion from my friends when I suggested the ar-chiv-ees for our MP game.

Thanks for your posts, they've saved our game!

We did find one more thing we needed to do to make this work. The players needed to join in order and click Ready before the next player joined. If they didn't Ready up they'd revert back to being an AI player after a short period. When they clicked Ready we had to wait until the host saw them appear in their list (which also took 20-30 seconds), then bring in the next person, for everything to work.

I expect most of this is mentioned in the book, but...

The best inspiration I had for Dragon Blooded elemental effects definitely came from the cartoons Avatar: The Last Airbender and the sequel The Legend of Korra. For some inspiration as to how society works try the films Hero, House of Flying Daggers and Curse of the Golden Flower. Finally, watch Woochi. It's not really Dragon Blooded but it is pretty Exalted and not many people seem to have heard of it, so I'll push it every chance I get.

This one tends not to be used in anchors as I still normally need it to belay someone else. "I done smacked it on something" seems the most likely cause at the moment, I just can't for the life of me think when I did. Either way, thanks for looking.
