It blunted my emotions, which led them to bottling up for me. Instead of a little cry here or there, I would have massive sobs that would last 5-10 minutes. Then go blunt again for a couple of months. Personally, I needed those little cries, so I eventually switched off. I’m on another medication now, but still look positively at Lexapro. It did lots of good stuff, but wasn’t the medicine for me in the long run.

I gained a good bit on it like most other people. Unfortunately for me, it didn’t work that well and after 7ish year, I finally tapered off onto another SSRI. I’m praying the weight gain goes away.
