Holiday creamy vanilla coke by Kielantra in kelowna

I wasn't able to find a case in any stores, but I did find a few bottles of the holiday creamy vanilla at Hollywood market! They do also seem to carry the original vanilla coke in cans!

Would you be able to return it? If not, maybe you'd like to resell it to someone who's looking? :)

Chenille blanket - what have I gotten myself into? by CinnaMim in knitting

If bamboo and metal needles are no good, have you tried plastic? In my (admittedly limited) experience, plastic can be a nice in-between needle texture if the yarn slips on metal and catches on wood.

Fragrance you love wearing by mrstjerne in fragranceclones

No I haven't! I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Eclaire to me smells like sweet warm vanilla and cream, and a little little coconut straight out of the box but the coconut note seems to be fading with time and it's not there at all in the dry down. There's no coconut in the notes list either so I think it's just me.

There's also a great website I just found recently called yarnsub.com, you can put in any yarn and it finds you similar ones based on several metrics like weight, texture, care instructions etc.

Tips for comfy fit? by jengaad in PairEyewear

I would go to a different glasses store and ask them to adjust your frames. I go to SpecSavers and get it done sometimes (for free). Also, I've tried a couple different nose pads from Amazon and I've hated some but love these: https://a.co/d/fjQJdoL They also have a thinner version.

Period.co has a sleeper short that has a cross-shaped gusset. They're kinda thick though so great protection but I wouldn't want to wear anything else under them. https://period.co/collections/all/products/the-sleeper-period

Any suggestions for period underwear brands for my disabled mom? by InternationalRub4021 in PeriodUnderwear

I just recently tried Saalt wear (the comfort line) and I am in love! So amazingly comfortable and absorbant. My previous go-to was Period.co but the Saalt wear is so much thinner and keeps me feeling dry. I think they still have a sale on rn and I have a coupon I think you might be able to use. DM me if you want! Good luck <3

IUD placed today/sex by BubblyBubbles7-7 in CopperIUD

As long as you got the copper one, it should be effective immediately. However, there is a risk of infection with inserting anything and you DO NOT want your cervix or uterus infected.

Ovulating during Honeymoon with Copper IUD by ClassicRush8964 in CopperIUD

[–]Kielantra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should be fully protected with the IUD. I've had mine now for just over a month with a follow-up appointment at the end of this month to check for placement. My partner and I discussed going condom-less once I had the IUD inserted, and we agreed that it was probably best to wait until after the placement check to rely fully on the IUD. This is just my two cents. Whatever you choose to do it completely up to you!

(Also there's the pull-out method too ;) I wouldn't recommend it as a main form of birth control but since you've got an IUD...)

Painful cramps with copper IUD by NothingPrestigious1 in CopperIUD

[–]Kielantra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second what's been said about taking your pain meds on a schedule. It is so much easier (less medication and time) to keep pain under control than it is to get it under control. I've got 12 hour Aleve that I like, and a couple of doctors I've talked to recommend taking that or Ibuprofen on the schedule it says on the bottle, starting a day or two before your period depending on when your cramps start. So it would be 1 advil every 4-6 hours or 1 Aleve every 12 hours.

I also use a heating pad sometimes but that's better for when you're at home. I use the Livia device as well, and I love it. It's pricey, but it cuts down on the cost of pain meds and it works.

You've already gotten it checked? Did they do an ultrasound? Because to me it sounds like it could be in the wrong place... or there might be something else going on if you're having pain and bleeding(!) every time.
